Prior to hiring Rick Humes I specified that I could only pay by credit card or electronic check. Apparently he did not understand how an electronic check works, because once he completed the inspection he asked for cash or paper check. I reminded him and he seemed bewildered. a few days later he called me asking for payment and wanted me to drive 2 hours and pull cash out for him. Apparently he couldn't wait until the USPS delivered the eCheck to him for $200! A few days passed, he called once again. This is a one person operation with no email, fax, text, or any ability to accept payments other

Rick was very in-depth, knowledgeable and great! He took the extra time and effort to come to us to go over our complete home inspection and explain everything in great detail to us. He also took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns and truly cared about the safety and well being of us, being the buyers of a home with a couple of issues. This was my third time with a home inspector and Rick was by far the best. Highly recommend!
