Services
Pricing is based on individual client needs, such as length, texture and condition of your hair, the time needed to complete your service and experience of your stylist. Final pricing will be quoted during your complimentary service consultation. All services are performed with AVEDA products, free of petroleum chemicals, using organically grown ingredients.

For the past year, one of the very few places I would go is to have my hair cut by Matt. Besides the fact that Matt is wonderful and gives me a great cut, he has implemented the safest space you can go to - with a new air filtration system, temperature checks, hand sanitizer, and masks. If you've been putting off having your hair done, I would say, don't hesitate any longer.. I'm really glad I've kept going throughout the pandemic.

I have been going to Matthews Salon for many years and it is absolutely the best in many ways. I've had my hair colored and have my hair cut and styled by Colleen. She is exceptional. Also, during recent times when I have been unsure about going to businesses because of the pandemic, Matt has done an amazing job of making the salon a safe place to visit. He has provided temperature checks, sanitizer, masks, air purification and makes sure that everything has been cleaned. Thank you to Matthews for being the best!

When I moved to Syracuse I went through 3 or 4 salons before I found Matthews. Finally, I have a place I feel comfortable going to. I am newly experiencing grays, but love my natural hair color. My stylist introduced me to a rinse that gently covers the gray while keeping the majority of the color the same. It looks great! I highly recommend.

I was new to Cazenovia, and decided to give tho salon a try, since it was so close to my house and it had good reviews. I am someone who likes to get my hair cut and colored every 5-6 weeks, and prefer to have a regular stylist who gets to know me and I can get comfortable with, as I am a SAHM who rarely gets out of the house by myself! I hadn't had a hair appointment in months, so I had a lot of gray roots and my ends were a disaster.

Kirsten does my hair color. I give her an idea of what I’m looking for and then tell her she’s the professional a you do what you think would look cool. And............of course, it looks cool when it’s done. I love the way Kirsten does my hair but I love All the people I work with. Matthews is an awesome salon/spa. John is our massage therapist and he gives awesome massages.

I haven't been to a salon in a very long time... after bad haircuts I began cutting my own hair, but I'm no professional. I went to Michael's salon after a recommendation from my dad who has been going for 30 years and I absolutely loved it. Michael listen to everything I said and gave me an excellent haircut. No only that, but he was very kind and explained to me his process along the way. He gave my hair life again!!!

I have always used Aveda salons, so I trusted this salon would be an equally positive experience. I brought my formulas from my Aveda salon in FL for partial highlights. I walked out with bleached stripes, a shorter-uneven cut, and fried ends. She didn't even apologize for damaging my hair, but blamed it on the humidity. Thank goodness I found Fringe Salon to help me start to repair my hair.

I am relatively new to the area, moved here in 2015 and struggled to find a good stylist for many months. Thank God I found Matthew, an accomplished, professional, experienced stylist that gives me an excellent haircut. I am an executive who is very picky about my hair. Matthew Salon provides a great atmosphere and skilled stylists that exceed my expectations. Matthew is a pleasure to be around and I thoroughly enjoy my visits to his salon. Kirsten always does my hair and she's fantastic! She always takes the time to really find out what I'm looking to have done and will always readjust at the end if, let's say I wanted it a bit shorter. She's patient, professional and is always very friendly! I'd highly recommend that if you were going to this salon you ask for her! 😁

I recently moved to Syracuse from Brooklyn and was hesitant to trust a new hairstylist with my ultra curly hair. Michelle did a fantastic job. She gave me a dry cut and made it clear from the get go that she wasn't going to take off too much length or add in layers if I didn't want that. The cut looks great -- just what I wanted. I'll be coming back here regularly!

I have been going to Matthews for at least 2 years now. I really like their stylists and the environment is very welcoming and clean. It's a great place all around and their services are affordable enough that you can go here regularly.
