In 1975, Johnny Tucker decided to open a local, family-oriented locksmith business in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Under the name Mechanicsville Lock and Key, the business was successful and grew in the local area. Two years later, his son Al joined the business and Dominion Lock & Security expanded to help homeowners, businesses and corporations in the greater Richmond area.
Since the seventies, we have gone from providing residential locksmith services to everything from commercial doors and frames, to guns safes and electronic security.
