ABC Foundation Repair was founded in 1982 by Glenn Alexander and is still owned by him today. Glenn went into the Navy in 1966 and got out in 1972. He went to work for his father who had owned a foundation repair/termite company. After 10 years of working with his father with three brothers and two sisters, his dad had said, Son, you should open up your company.

House leveling is the process of lifting or adjusting a home back to it's original, level position. Often, homes tend to shift over decades of soil erosion and ground movement. New homes are held to a standard of which the foundation should be no more than 1.5 inches deviated from level (per the American Concrete Institute).
Wood beams are placed on the interior concrete columns and on the perimeter of the foundation. A slab foundation is made mostly of reinforced concrete. It is a thick slab of concrete that is poured directly over the ground where the house will sit. To accommodate for additional weight around the perimeter of the home, the perimeter of the slabs are typically up to 36 deep.

I had a great experience with this company. As my work was getting done the owner came out to check on everything. He explained the process and did everything they said they would do. They went above and beyond on the clean up. I would highly recommend this company if you need foundation work done. It is scary when you have to spend money on your home and they kept me updated the whole time.
