When starting this store, I wanted a place to celebrate the independent woman; women with salt in their hair and style in their soul. Easy like Sunday morning.
I spent the first 15 years of my career as a sales rep in the Surf Industry and travelled all over the world surfing and exploring. I know what kind of gear and apparel inspires me and works for me, and I wanted to bring that laid-back and utilitarian style to Newport. From big city nights to beach-bleached weekends, a Salty Babe rides a creative wave inspired by the energy of the ocean and the freedom of adventure.

Driftwood Mosaics are pieces of artwork created by Bart Hopkins. All works of art done by Mr. Hopkins are a mix of images, textured fabrics, reclaimed wood and various other media mounted on wood.
