Nancy's House
If you're a caregiver, you may not even know how tired you really are. At Nancy's House, we offer comprehensive respite for caregivers in the Mid-Atlantic region. With 1-day and 3-day respite retreats, we take care of caregivers while helping them learn take care of themselves back home. Have time that is just for you and learn how to create those moments at home.

Because we do know how tired you really are. For more information about upcoming retreats and how to register, visit the "Become A Guest" page, contact Elissa at [email protected] or call 215-885-0753. Also, check on our events page for retreat information. A family caregiver is a relative or friend who voluntarily is helping a loved one who is disabled, chronically ill, or frail.
Services
Nancy's House gives caregivers the tools and strategies they need to stay stronger and healthier while caring for their ill loved ones. Through our programs, community-building, and advocacy, Nancy's House breaks the isolation and exhaustion of caregiving. Nancy's House creates the opportunity for caregivers to step out of their stressful lives, connect with others walking the same path, and experience what it feels like to let go.
Home care costs are not an obstacle when you become a Nancy's House guest. We will help to create the peace of mind you need in order to leave your house and come to ours. Nancy's House respite retreats are two nights/three days, so you can have two undisturbed nights of sleep. Retreats include a private room with private bath, all meals and snacks, classes, materials, and services.
There are many ways to help support Nancy's House and the hard work of family caregivers. Because the cost of caregiving is so high, we run retreats at as little cost to the caregiver as possible. Visit our donations page to learn how you can make a one-time or recurring donation to Nancy's House. You can get involved simply by spreading the word about our mission to provide greater resources for caregivers.

Great location, however the room was very noise at night with street noise and from the people on the other rooms. Also, the host overcharged us the city tax.

A very nice place to visit Florence. The room is small but cute and very clean and with your own bathroom inside. It is very near from the train and bus stations and not far from the city center. The hosts are very nice and kind; they don't hesitate to help with all you need. The only thing is that you can hear trains when arriving, but you can close the window and turn on the aircon, if needed. If I am back to Florence I will stay there again, no doubt.
