Heel pain and arch pain are some of the most common reasons people visit our Roanoke podiatry clinic. You don't have to suffer anymore. Schedule your appointment to find the cause of your heel pain and get fast relief. Embarrassed about the way your nail and skin looks on your feet? You're not alone.
One of the biggest complaints people have about their feet is heel pain. Your heels and arches support your body. When they hurt, you could suffer every time you walk, run, or perform any kind of high-impact activity. It's not a way to live. With care from the heel pain doctors at Shenandoah Podiatry, you don't have to keep living in misery.
As frightening as that sounds, there's hope. With proper care, you can live an active, healthy life. More importantly, you can avoid becoming one of the many diabetics who has to have an amputation. As a person with diabetes, your feet face unique risks. Understanding these risks is the best way to help you avoid the common foot problems that accompany this disease.
It's one of the first things people notice about your feet: your skin and nails. If you have thick, yellow nails and scaly skin, chances are you're self-conscious of your feet. More importantly, your feet could be tormenting you or posing a health risk. The skin and nails on your feet can become damaged or injured in a variety of ways.
That's a tough phrase to hear from your podiatrist. It's so tough, in fact, that many people needing surgery delay seeing a podiatrist for fear that those are the three words they will hear. When the surgery happens, many are delighted in how easy and painless it was to get the care that's needed. If you're like many people we talk to, you can understand.

Set up an appointment for two ingrown toenails, was greeted very well. Met with Dr. Allen, very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave me options for treatment, as well as, explained each one. I ended up choosing the removal; procedure was quick and painless. Went for a follow up a week after, was told that they looked good, as well as, I’m not in pain anymore. Dr. Allen is an excellent doctor who makes you feel comfortable and informed. 5 stars, highly recommend!

2 stars because the staff was super nice. But I was charged $275 for the practitioner to look at my child's feet for 5 minutes and send us on our way with advice only. I should've asked up front for the cost, but figured insurance would help. It didn't. MDs don't even charge that much for a visit. Very disappointing.

Worked me in for an emergency that day - when Carilion couldn't see me for several weeks. So glad I ended up here. The staff - from the front desk, clinical staff and Dr. Keller - were amazing. Took care of my injury and were so nice, friendly and accommodating. After the visit - they were out of the size of shoe that I wanted and the front desk staff offered to and ordered the size and color that I wanted. Absolutely recommend and will be a life long patient.

Wonderful, caring staff! My husband is a diabetic and a stroke survivor who is wheelchair bound, and not the easiest to understand or work with. Doctor Hoffman is so good with him, even tho it is not at all easy or comfortable for her to have to crouch in the floor to treat him. And she is the ONLY one, in 6 1/2 years of him having severe edema in his foot and leg, to suggest putting him on a lymphatic compression regimen. Thanks to her, his feet and legs are so much better now! I have taken him to another podiatrist in the past who cut his nails unevenly and left them with sharp, jagged edges

I recently visited Shenandoah podiatry for extreme foot pain. While the front desk staff and my nurse were both very friendly and helpful. The physician was less than. Just out of medical school I presume by her age, she treated that sweet nurse as if she were ignorant and more of a nuisance than anything, barking orders without one “Thank you”. She was just plain rude. The office has 2 physicians. My neighbor informs me that the other one is far worse. I feel absolutely terrible for the staff, under appreciated is an understatement. I will not be returning to this office and I pray that those

I absolutely love this office and everyone that works there. Everyone is so kind and helpful, from the front desk to the nurses all the way to both of the doctors. This office loves what they do and go above and beyond to make each patient feel comfortable and welcome. I have been going to this office for almost 4 years now and they have become more than just a Dr office to me, they have become like family. I actually look forward to my appointments. Thank you all for caring.. I love You all.
