Marcia is a Washington State Licensed Dispensing Optician, passing the licensing exam in 1994. Prior to opening Affordable Family Eyewear in 2008 she opened, trained employees and managed optical practices in Hermiston, Pendleton, Walla Walla and the Tri Cities.

We work with area School Districts, Lions Clubs, Capeco and other entities to provide inexpensive and many times, free eye exams and eyeglasses when there is a need for children or adults whom have little or no means to pay.In 2014 Affordable Family Eyewear was nominated and awarded Business of the Year by the Hermiston Rotary Club / Chamber of Commerce.

With our own Lenses Processing Lab, most prescription lenses can be ready for you in 1 - 3 hours. Most Frames come with a one year manufacturers defect warranty and most lenses have a one year scratch warranty. If you make an appointment and come in at least one day before your scheduled appointment to be pre-screened and complete any required paperwork, you will receive $20 OFF any purchase of eyeglasses or lenses for your frame.
