TLC Auto Detail was founded in 2006 on the principal that every vehicle deserves to be cared for and protected. We strive for perfection in all things related to the aesthetics and care of a vehicle. The owner and employees of TLC Auto Detail have always held ourselves to the highest level of quality in everything we do.
Sometimes all your vehicle needs to looks great is a deep cleaning and some added protection. For these vehicles we offer our Signature Wash and Wax Detail. This is a full exterior detail that not only gets everything fresh and clean, but also adds protection to keep it looking great for months. Exterior hand wash, then dried with compress air and high quality microfiber towels to prevent inducing swirls.
Paint correction, also known as paint polishing, is the act of leveling paint to remove defects, including wash induced swirls, light scratches, hard water spots, bird dropping etchings, and scuffs via machine buffing. Through machine polishing we are also able to drastically improve the gloss of a vehicle's paintwork.
TLC Auto Detail now proudly offers ClearPlex a patented, optically-clear protection film for windshields. Significantly reduce the occurrence of rock chips, pitting, bulls-eyes, and even shattering with this multi-layered film, the first and only of its kind! As well as being impact and scratch resistant, ClearPlex protection film offers heat and UV protection-prolonging the life of your vehicle's interior.
Car Pro Forte is THE answer to protecting the windshield and exterior glass surface of your vehicle. Car Pro Forte's new state of the art materials were composed to create a strong coating on glass windshields and windows. Car Pro Forte resists the friction and abrasion from road rash, wipers, dust, car washes, harsh cleansers, and the environment.

After reading several glowing reviews, we decided to give TLC a try. They performed a single step paint correction on our fourteen year old X3. After seeing the great job they did with that, we were excited to have them work on our new X5. They performed a single step correction, full frontal PPF, photo sync tint all around, and had it coated with Modesta BC-05. We also had our wheels painted black, and the results are truly stunning. Rachel was great in keeping us informed on its progress. We highly recommend Dave and his team at TLC Auto Detail.

Best detailer in No. VA! I took my 325xi there twice over the past few years and they did a phenomenal job each time! They're very responsive and patient, and they explain thoroughly the different services they offer. Even better, they tell you when something's not worth doing. My car was a 2004 model and the hood had chips in it from (presumably) heavy highway travel. Rather than tell me I needed the top-of-the-line treatment, they were honest and said if I wanted that, it'd be better to get it repainted and then bring it back once the paint was cured. I never wound up doing

A big thank you to Dave and his team at TLC - the quality of the work on my M2CS is amazing, and the attention to detail truly shows. With 100 miles on the odometer, the car's factory paint was decontaminated and clayed for a perfect surface. Next, suntek film was applied on every part of the car's body. Then modesta ceramic coatings were put on top of the film, and the wheels received a special temperature-resistant coating. The windows also received CIR tinting all around, and an exoshield was adhered to the windshield. The finished product is stunning, and it will protect my car for years to

I had a phenomenal experience here getting ppf, ceramic, and window tints done on M2. Customer Service definitely shines just like the cars here! They took their time answering all my questions, walking me through the process end to end. Its evident that they’re very enthusiastic and passionate about their work, as my car came out looking absolutely amazing! All I could muster during the reveal was… WOW!!!

TLC Auto Detail is my first and only choice for auto detailing in the DMV. I've had multiple jobs done from PPF protection, window tint, suspension work, part installs, and of course, auto detailing.
Dave and his team offer amazing work, great value, and amazing customer service. I've only taken my Tesla Model Y Performance to them for pretty much everything.
I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else.

With great satisfaction, I have had an excellent experience two times over with TLC Auto Detail, who recently was able to provide full tinting to my two supercars during the last month. The consultation and recommendations, as well as professional experience and detail, and timeliness were superb. Although it is not at all in my area, through a colleague was recommended to use their services, and will gladly do so for future paint protection, ceramic coating and tinting in the future with other vehicles. Would easily recommend and trust their operations.

Loved the work from TLC and the special touch they give at delivery with the microfiber towel (so soft and fluffy) and folder with your invoice, receipt, and details about the service you got. The cherry on top is the responsiveness and communication from their entire team. I can't recommend them enough and they are worth the drive from Rockville.

By recommendation from my Porsche club, I took my new 911 here for Paint Protection Film and ceramic coating. The application is excellent, all the paperwork was delivered in a nice folder, and the entire process exceeded my expectations. I received a thank you note as well. To ensure my car's finish stays protected and shiny through years of daily commuting through a never-ending construction zone known as I-66, my car was treated to a paint correction and Modesta coating. Just got my 2019 Tesla Model X back and it looks better than when I bought it new. Amazing workmanship and attention to detail. It's clear they are masters of the craft. If you value that then you're in the right place. Gave very detailed instructions for care although I often don't have enough time or space to do it in. Will return for maintenance and touch ups when needed.

My beloved standard shift 1996 Toyota RAV4 after 258K miles and a rebuilt motor, deserved a superlative detailing. I had heard good things about TLC from my mechanic, but I wasn't sure my humble, elderly RAV would be accepted. Clearly, the vehicles at TLC were high-end. Without reservation, I can say that TLC is the promised land of detailing. Dave and his staff were consistently attentive, responsive, and professional. I called to inquire about it and Dave provided me loads of valuable information about the process and the benefits. From how thorough he was, I knew I 100% wanted to do it so when the wheels were shipping out, I had them shipped directly to their shop for a ceramic coating. The wheels arrived there Tuesday afternoon and I went to get them Thursday morning, everything was prompt and ready. As I arrived, the wheels were laid out ready for me to check them out. Dave was very friendly and showed me around the shop, walked me through everything I needed

TLC not only does great work, but they offer very competitive prices as well... what I like the most, they are a one stop shop. They offer the full suite of detailing services and coatings, they tint windows, and they offer a full suite of clear film protection (clear bra)
I had them do the whole shebang on my 2014 Audi R8 V10. They did a paint correction, modesta coating, some film protection and window tint... one stop shop... And the best part, they do a equally fabulous job at everything.

Customer Service - TLC Auto Detailing is Excellent; Dave took amazing care of my vehicle. I brought my car in for some detail services as I read online this is the best place to go. Dave removed stains that were on the carpet of the interior as well as shampooing the entire vehicle, provided leather treatment for the leather seats, cleaned all the stains within the trunk area, restored the wood grain shine within the vehicle, along with waxing & buffing. The exterior of the vehicle looked FLAWLESS. Words cannot describe the way the vehicle looked when finish, as I was utterly speechless

Dave Miller is the real deal when it comes to auto detailing. He isn't just your average production line buff/wax detailer. He is meticulous and the place you want to go if your car is special and you want it done right. Some examples of what I like working with him:
