Golla ENT specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders, including allergies, sleep apnea and snoring, hearing disorders, voice disorders, endoscopic sinus surgery, head and neck surgery and more. We provide compassionate care to children and adults. Uncontrolled allergies can create fluid in the ear and create a favorable environment for ear infections.
So, you have a sore throat, cough, runny nose and congestion. Have you caught a common cold or do you have allergy symptoms? Sometimes, it is even difficult for doctors to distinguish between the two, because their symptoms can be so similar. If you have persistent throat discomfort accompanied by other allergy symptoms, consider that you may have a sore throat due to allergies.
If you have persistent inflammation or swelling of the tissues that line your sinuses, you could have a condition called chronic sinusitis. Under normal circumstances, your sinuses are full of air, but when they become inflamed fluid can build up which may then lead to a viral, bacterial or fungal sinus infection.

Lightheadedness, spinning, feeling faint (called pre-syncope or syncope) can all be included in this complaint. Lightheadedness or syncope symptoms are often related to a cardiovascular source that is blood pressure related or heart rhythm related.

Dr. Golla and her team are the best of the best. I wish I could give them a million stars!! I am greeted with a smile every single time. I leave feeling fully satisfied and knowledgeable with whatever I'm getting seen for. I just recently got a thyroidectomy and can I say I felt like Royalty. Perfect surgery! Dr. Golla explained everything every step of the way and followed up with me in person and over the phone. From the findings to the surgery i felt like family. Thank you Dr. Golla and your team you guys are amazing and I am grateful.

What a refreshing experience with Dr. Golla! I came to Dr. Golla for a second opinion after a disappointing experience elsewhere. She was extremely attentive, caring, and reassuring in her care.
Additionally, the staff were so sweet and caring. And I was shocked how quickly I was able to get an appointment! I am definitely pleased with the level of care and compassion.

Dr. Golla is excellent! I was referred to her years ago for an urgent problem, and she stayed late on a Friday, delaying her own family trip, to help me. Now that I am a working mother, I realize even more what a sacrifice she made for me. She has always been kind and respectful to me over the years and I highly recommend her!

I had my first appointment at Dr. Golla's White Oak office. We've had to reschedule several times because of the shut-down. I spoke with Ann in the Office and Dr. Golla herself and they both wanted to ensure that I was comfortable with rescheduling. My appt. with the Doctor was very thorough and professional. She listened to my issues, explained the treatment plan, answered all my questions, and scheduled a 3-month follow-up. Others in the Office were equally professional and courteous. I would recommend this practice to others.

Dr Golla is the best ENT doctor in the Pittsburgh area. Beside being very skillful she is a very caring doctor who listens to eveything you say and works with you to provide the best care possible. I only gave her a 5 Star rating because the survey wouldn't allow me to give her and her entire office staff the 12 Stars they deserve.

I think the difference between a competent doctor and a great doctor is the attention and care, the ability to listen, empathize, and explain. So for me, Dr. Golla is a GREAT doctor. She cares about her patients and it shows, knows how to listen, how to explain. I left my visit feeling fully informed about everything and confident that I was receiving the highest possible care. I will definitely be entrusting all my future ENT treatment to Dr. Golla!

If you're looking for an ENT doctor, I highly recommend you see Dr. Golla. She's very intelligent, skilled and capable. Plus, her genuinely caring, concerned and compassionate nature means she puts her patient's comfort and understanding above all. She actually listens to everything you tell her.
