LANAP is the only FDA-Cleared Laser Periodontitis Protocol that is Histologically, Scientifically & Clinically Guaranteed to Work. LANAP is a very patient friendly procedure that does not require incision or stitches. It is a much more comfortable procedure than traditional Osseous surgery, during and after the procedure.
Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that uses transplanted bone to repair and rebuild diseased or damaged bones. A bone graft is a choice for repairing bones almost anywhere in your body including the jawbone. Bone grafting is a common procedure that is frequently used for dental implants and other periodontal procedures.
When you lose teeth, and do not replace them, the jawbone deteriorates where the tooth socket once was. This makes it difficult, and in some instances impossible to get dental implants or dentures later on. The good news is that we can perform a procedure called ridge augmentation to restore the bone structure that is needed for restorative procedures.

I am so thankful for this practice. I had an emergency and have been in so much pain. I had to make an emergency appointment with my dentist who referred me to Idaho Perio, and I called them immediately to make an appointment for a consultation. The receptionist said they were booking several weeks out, so we went ahead and made the appointment. Afterwards, when she heard how much pain I was in, she went ahead and was able to pull some strings and get me in the next day. Less than 24 hours! First of all.... I am a mom and my best "oral health mom advice" is to start flossing at a young age, brush gently and often, avoid sugar and tobacco and do everything in your power to NEVER need a periodontist. But, if you end up needing a periodontist I hope you call Dr. Hansen.

Would recommend getting an implant here! I was referred to Dr.Hansen and was very scared at first .. but they made me very comfortable!! I am very pleased with my implant on my front tooth! I got a tooth implant here and the experience has been great. It’s a long process, but everyone at Idaho Perio knows how to walk you through it smoothly. Dr. Katseanes is an awesome guy with a lot of knowledge and experience.
I’ve had around 7 appointments with them now and no complaints. The procedures have been relatively quick and easy, and I’m happy with the results. Definitely recommend.

My experience at Idaho Perio has been a wonderful experience. I needed four implants and was very nervous about the procedure since this was my first time. Dr. Hansen was very caring and extremely helpful in explaining in detail of the surgery and patiently answering every question I had about the procedure. I was referred to Dr. Jace Hansen's office at Idaho Perio to have an implant tightened that had come loose. The implant had been put in out of state and my dentist did not have the correct tools to tighten it. From the moment I walked into Dr. Hansen's office I was very impressed with the front office staff who were very friendly and quickly got me in to be seen by Kristi, the office manager and dental assistant. I had to have bone and skin graft on a front tooth site that had to be pulled as well. I was so nervous about feeling pain but other than one of the shots of Novocain I didn’t feel anything. I was given a pill to take one hour before the procedure and I pretty much slept through the entire thing. Dr Hansen was so nice and thorough as well as the rest of the staff! Very professional and informative. I also had no post procedure pain. It has been a week and I have had no issues. All in all I had a great experience with everyone at Idaho Perio and I highly recommend them.

I am a new patient to IDAHO PERIO and recently had an implant performed by Dr. Katseanes -- I couldn't be more pleased! Dr. K took all the time I needed to explain everything and ensure the entire process, from sedation to healing, was comfortable and relatively pain-free. Amazing!!! I had to start of with that. So I had a procedure that needed to be done, which I have had done many times before. So I know the drill. But I decided to try a new place. My dentist and another friend who is a dentist referred two different offices to me. But I saw the reviews for Idaho Perio, so I called them first. And right off the bat it was awesome.
