The stress of being unable to meet your financial obligations can become severe, leading to sleepless nights, mental exhaustion, emotional turmoil, and the deterioration of your health and personal relationships. Not knowing where to turn or how to handle overwhelming debt can leave you feeling hopeless about the future.

All of that can change with sound legal advice and an understanding of the financial solutions established and available under state and federal law. At the Law Offices of Mark A. Bandy, PC, we are here to help you understand the options you have in the face of crushing debt. We offer more than 20 years of experience, a passion to serve, and a personal one-on-one approach where you will always work directly with an attorney.
Services
We offer free consultations, weekend, after-hour, and virtual appointments for your convenience. We are accessible to our clients and are here to answer all questions throughout the process. When you retain us you can rest assure you will receive excellent representation and the best possible outcome.
Chapter 13 bankruptcy is called the reorganization type of bankruptcy. Your debts can be reorganized and, as in a Chapter 7, at the end of the process, unsecured debt such as credit cards, medical bills, personal loans, and more will be discharged. Unlike a Chapter 7, however, a Chapter 13 can also help you catch up on mortgage, vehicle, or other secured debt during the plan's process.
Many individuals and families live paycheck to paycheck which means any interruption in the income received through those paychecks can have a huge negative impact. Wage garnishments generally consist of court orders that direct an employer to withhold a certain amount of money from your wages to satisfy a judgement against you for unpaid debts.
The threat of losing your car can lead to major pressure and worry. All of us depend in a significant way on our vehicles. Cars are essential to individuals and families throughout the cities and states of this country. Having to depend on public transportation or the generosity of family or friends can be time-consuming, and bothersome to all parties.
If you've fallen behind on your home mortgage, a Chapter 13 bankruptcy may be the best way to give you the opportunity to catch up on your delinquent mortgage payments. The cost of housing in Savannah and the surrounding areas has increased over the past several years and, in many cases, your monthly mortgage payment may be less than the cost of renting an apartment.

When my husband and I decided to file for bankruptcy we were very nervous. A friend of our family suggested we talk to Mr. Bandy. I am so glad we did! He explained things very well, and helped us feel comfortable before and during the whole process. He and his staff stayed in close contact with us, and whenever we had questions they were always easy to contact. He helped us stay calm and positive through the whole experience. I highly recommend him to anyone who is considering bankruptcy.

Absolutely the best in town! Called several places and they gave me the runaround. Basically, they told me, “This is the price. Come in and we will see what we can do.” I called Mark’s office after 4 other places. Initially I got a voicemail so I left one. He immediately called back, asked me thoughtful questions, and answered my many, MANY questions. He got me started and was willing to work with my situation.
Mark’s office was professional and sincere from day one and has been there every step of the way. His assistant Shannon was super knowledgeable and helpful when I came in for my

Going into bankruptcy as an option. There were a lot of questions. Mark helped the wife and I who were serious medical debt while also 3 months behind after already refinancing 8 months prior. We had just lost our 2017 honda accord to repossession and was on the verge of losing our other vehicle as well. We were able do a chapter 13 and able to get the Honda back and get back on track with both vehicles and the house. We also had our refund taken by the IRS and was able to get that back today.

Mark is hands down the best bankruptcy attorney in all of Georgia. I highly recommend him to everyone. He is very knowledgeable and keeps you updated on every aspect of your case. He is in this business for his clients and he has the compassion and understanding to help you during a very stressful time. He will do whatever it takes to get you the best outcome. I searched forever for an attorney that would be more about his clients and their needs, rather than just the money. I could not be happier with my decision to contact Mr. Bandy. I live 2 hours from him and he worked around my schedule (even

I have been an attorney for over 40 years and was very impressed with Mark. If you are considering bankruptcy do yourself a favor and call Mark. His expertise in Bankruptcy allowed him to guide me through my Chapter 7 seamlessly and without delay. Mark was very patient with my questions, answered them thoroughly and his recommendations were accurate and proved true. He was empathetic, nonjudgmental and put me at ease throughout this entire process. When the Trustee's Office raised a concern, Mark answered their inquiry and kept my case on track. Mark and his office staff were always courteous,

Mark is pretty talented. He has given me information that saved me from so many legal headaches. I wish I came to him sooner with advice about my business and finances. Really he is just a great guy that wants to see me succeed. You can't make them more genuine than Mark.

I told him about a few friends that were thinking about filing for bankruptcy and he sprung into action. He has a whole system that will get you on track and see if you really need to go down that route. Most of the time you just need to make adjustments. Other times, it's the best option to get those jerks off
