Russ Friess founded Friess Welding, and the business has been established since 1968. Russell began the business with his wife Betty and had ben working the business consistently. Our mission has always been "bring us a problem, and we fix it". Our company is here to solve your problems by welding anything that can be welded.
Today we was at your business and you guys are the greatest people that I have meet in Ohio. You took very good care of us and fixed our camper. The guys there are tops to us. Best welding shop in the Akron/Cleveland area hands down!! They take the extra time to do it right the first time and the welds have perfect beads and look very professional. A very good family owned and operated business, and will continue to support them for years to come. Very highly recommended. Also the staff are friendly.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SERVICE AROUND...I was at a stoplight and car next to me said that I didn't have any trailer lights. I showed up unannounced and Rick got right on it and FIXED MY PROBLEM....Who else in Akron would have done that ?? I had previous welding done there and James & Russ should be proud to be called welders !!! THANK YOU FRIESS WELDING.

This is a great little welding shop. They have been here forever. There is a lot stock trailer replacement parts and accessories. I broke my trailer axle and Friess had enough stock axles and axle parts to repair the trailer in short order. They also stock trailer brake parts and install anything you need.

I placed my 2004 F150 Super Cab in their hands and they did an outstanding superb welding job on the frame of my truck they put me all back together in one piece and took care of my needs and what I wanted. My frame to my truck was completely rusted out and Fred the welder helped me completely and took care of me. I highly recommend everyone that needs welding and fabrication done to any of your vehicles and I’m hi giving them five stars for service.

I, like many other 2005 Ford Escape owners, had my rear passenger wheel well rust out exposing the inside of my vehicle and damaging the shock. I was told this is a common problem with these cars and was referred to Friess Welding by my regular mechanic. I called them up and before I could explain my problem they said they were well versed in the issue, been doing about one a week, and could certainly handle my car. Couldn't get in for almost three weeks because they were so backed up doing work but it was well worth the wait. They did a fantastic job, clean and professional welds, took extra special
