Steve was great! I was visiting family in Redding when my check engine light came on due to an old spark plug. He responded quickly to my service request upon business hours and had my Volvo XC90 back the same day! It has been one week since service date and I haven’t had any further issues. Steve is the best. He is the most knowledgable, professional mechanic with whom I have ever worked. Travelling home from Palm Springs CA to Birch Bay WA, we were staying over in Redding until the Siskiyous were passable. During our stay we had a turn signal lamp go out. I had just bought tires at Les Schwab in Redding, so I asked them for a suggestion. They recommended Bryant, so I called them. But Bryant doesn't service Volvo. But they immediately recommended Valhalla Volvo. So I called Valhalla and spoke to Steve. He said to come on over and he would take care of it. Ten minutes later we were there and another ten minutes later we were on our way with happily functioning turn signals.

Traveling home from CA to Seattle I discovered that my locking alarm system was not working on my 2013 Volvo S60. I was in Redding CA. It was 4:10 in the afternoon when I called Valhalla Volvo and asked if they could help me. Steve said he'd take a look so I drove straight to their shop. He hooked my car up to their computer and diagnosed the problem. He said he could have the part I needed by the next day.
