DJS Events is a "boutique" firm where each client works directly with owner Dawn Strain and her experienced, dedicated team. Dawn is a talented designer and artistic perfectionist. She orchestrates the finest of specialty vendors to provide unique touches from magical lighting and jaw-dropping floral arrangements, to amazing entertainment.
Dawn Jessica Strain, President of DJS Events, has created some of the most extraordinary affairs for a prestigious clientele in the corporate, non-profit, and social sectors. Dawn is a charismatic leader in the business and networking communities, which led her to become the second-youngest woman to be named to the Long Island Business News "Top 50 Business Woman of the Year" in 2009 and to receive this award for the second time in 2012.
When it comes to philanthropic events, DJS Events proves to be more than just an "event planning" company. After years of experience, DJS has the ability to offer a full-service back office support staff to assist the organization. From developing enticing sponsorship packages to collecting RSVP's, DJS designs, plans and manages the event to ensure its success.
Over the past few years, DJS Events has successfully conveyed a couple's love story told through unique wedding designs. Recently, DJS transformed a beach in Belize into "Paris in Paradise, " a magical theme reflecting the romance of the groom's proposal at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
