Brother Rutter is one of the managing partners at Rutter Mills. He is a graduate of Harvard College, and University of Richmond's T.C. Williams Law School, where he graduated first in his class. Brother is a high-level litigator with decades of legal experience, specializing in large and complicated auto accident and maritime cases.
Adam Lotkin has been practicing law since 1996, the natural culmination of his youthful interest in legislation and justice. He worked as a page in high school, and then as an intern and clerk for various congressmen while in college. Adam is driven by a desire to help out "the little guy" - he has always championed the underdog in any situation.
On retiring from U.S. Navy active duty in 1974, Joe Young launched his law career. He started out by representing large insurance carriers. This was excellent training in learning the Personal Injury claims process inside and out.

For more than 30 years, Robert Walsh has been a leading advocate for injured workers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Now retired, he began his legal career working with the Benefits Review Board of the United States Department of Labor where he handled claims reviewed and decided according to the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act.
Robert Gillikin specializes in helping disabled individuals get the Social Security or Veterans' Disability benefits that they need and deserve. He began his legal career with Peirce & Associates in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and witnessed first-hand how frustrating and difficult the disability benefits process could be.

I had and still do have the most valuable, professional and friendly relationship with Selena Paszkiewicz and Mr. Lotkin. It was a bit rough waiting for the case to conclude because of covid; however, it was DEFINITELY worth the wait and the experience. Not to mention how, as a 20 year plus employment. Selena was so gracious as to assist me in paralegal questions, as I've just graduated from studying law as a paralegal. Upon the case being concluded, she has still promised I could always call for advice and paralegal help. I'm going to grow up to be just like her (lol).

They settled my case with the other insurance company and gave me my money and got their money. Now they got the med pay from my insurance company and won't call or email me back for over 3 weeks. I have called and left a message with my attorney and emailed him and his paralegal multiple times asking for them to please let me know something and they won't respond.

Very unprofessional and unorganized. Mr. Slaughter is a very nice man, but his administrative team is terrible. From the pre-lit paralegal to paralegal- nothing was explained, nobody contacted me unless I left at least 3 voicemails, documents were lost and emails had to be constantly resent before being confirmed. My case (car accident) took over two years and had to be rescheduled because the paralegal didn't obtain all the medical records/ bills in time. I requested an appointment with the paralegal before my second court date to go over medical bills since I kept my own record and still
