Sarah Rorvig is an accomplished and creative makeup artist residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She has experience in all aspects of makeup: bridal, fashion, body painting, film and media. At the beginning of 2017 Sarah opened Vivaluxx School of Makeup Art and began educating like-minded individuals about the technical skills and business of makeup artistry.

Services
Sarah's art studio is located in downtown Bellingham and is the creative space where she teaches classes and workshops. Clients are invited to come there for their makeup application, and she even offers to host bridal parties on their wedding day! Brides are welcome to invite their hair stylist and photographer to the studio so the bridal party can all get ready together in a beautiful setting.

What kind of makeup services can you provide? As you can see from my website my makeup skills vary from beauty to body painting to fun Halloween and costume looks! I also love to do private 1-on-1 lessons, group lessons, runway makeup, photoshoots, and loves to participate in various events and fundraisers.
My favorite part of makeup artistry is the skin. Gorgeous, fresh, glowing skin that highlights and contours our most unique feature- the face. I leave the freckles and cover the imperfections. I use the least amount of product to make the biggest statement. Less is more. As a true artist I use the science behind color theory to correct skin tones, accentuate eye color, and choose colors that will compliment a persons complexion and complete look.
Working in the bridal industry has been the most rewarding part of being a makeup artist. Ladies put their trust in me to ensure that they look and feel absolutely beautiful on the most important day of their lives. I have been fortunate to work with amazing clients that quickly became friends, and had the opportunity to travel to foreign places to share this exciting experience with them.

Sarah was so fantastic to work with for our Bellingham event (Rehearsal dinner & Wedding reception)! I couldn’t have been happier. She not only understood the esthetics of what I was going for but it being such an emotional day filled with ups & downs she comforted and supported me. I cannot recommend Sarah enough! She is not only an incredible makeup artist she is just so wonderful to be around. I'm a wedding photographer and any time my clients have used her for their wedding it's always been flawless. I've never met anyone who didn't love working with Sarah. She's also done my makeup several times now and I always leave feeling so beautiful 😍 She is truly a gift!

Can not say enough !!! Fantastic!! Expert from the start. Very professional- responds quickly, very informative. Beautiful -bright -open -studio, great location. Sarah is so friendly & gorgeous . You can tell she has had excellent training and experience. I had a Flapper party & didn't want to leave that to a amateur. Sarah hit it out of the park. I can't wait to have another event where I can hire Sarah at vivaluxx. Overall experience was 10 plus !!!

I've had my makeup done by Sarah and have worked with her on several creative projects. She has many years of experience but its obvious she's a natural. This is clearly the work she's meant to be doing. If you're needing to elevate your own makeup game and have no idea were to start call Sarah for a consultation to guide you! I can't say enough good things about Sarah and her work! First of all, she was so accommodating and really listened to all my requests and ideas. She makes you feel very heard and understood, something that I valued a lot. Her attention to detail is amazing! I'm a perfectionist when it comes to doing my own makeup, so seeing her take her time and… make sure every little thing was perfect made me extra confident in the final product. My makeup looked flawless and stayed all day! It's evident she truly cares about her clients and her work, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Sarah did such an exceptional job on my makeup for my wedding day! She was sweet and gave me the makeup I wanted and more!! I was hesitant to get my makeup done in the first place but I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was easy and accommodating to work with and am looking for excuses to get my makeup done in the future!!! Highly recommend!!

Sarah is an unbelievable talent and an absolute joy to work with! Her artistry skills span a wide style range from full glam to light and airy, so she really is a one stop shop! As a photographer, well executed makeup styling is crucial, and when I get the pleasure of working with Sarah, I know that I will have little to no retouching on any of our clients. Wow. Where to start about Sarah? I did not plan originally to have my makeup done professionally for my wedding until my hair stylist suggested it on my practice session. I was planning on doing myself. I don't wear a lot of makeup anyway, I can do it myself. Yadda yadda yadda.
This is one of those decisions that in hindsight I would never question again. I wasn't really interested in futzing with fake eyelashes on my big day. We paid for a good photographer and even though I have good skin, every single imperfection and discoloration and anything will show up on the high quality
