Services
Children's Dental Clinic & Orthodontics of Las Cruces has pediatric dental specialists on staff overseeing our dental operations. Pediatric dentists are children's dentists who elect to take an extra two years of schooling to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Our children's dentists work with children aged nine months to 18 years, and with special needs patients up to 26 years.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to children's needs and it is our goal to make your child feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Charges are payable at the time of treatment. Please ask a member of our staff, and we will review our payment options to accommodate your financial needs. If special arrangements are needed, please talk to our office manager prior to receiving service.
If you'd like to share some kind words and smiles, please ask our front desk staff for a comment card at your next appointment. We'd love to hear about your experience! Staff is very kid friendly and extremely patient with toddlers. Been going since my son turned 1 and every time we go with the staffs help my son gets more confident.
Below are common questions and our answers about the best way to care for children's teeth. We recommend that you make an appointment to see the dentist as soon as your child gets her first tooth. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children be seen by six months after their first tooth erupts, or at one year of age, whichever comes first.

We were really satisfied with our visit. Everyone was very friendly and we were in and out in under an hour. It was my son's first time at the dentist and Edgar made it fun and easy for him! Edgar was absolutely wonderful and I'm thankful my son got to work with him. When we left, my son said he wanted to come back to the dentist again!! Thank you everyone.

Horribly rude. I have been taking my kids for 16 years and today I was treated awful. Took my kids out of school to come and they wouldn’t see us because we don’t own muzzles. Asked to have a mask said they will not give us one. We have to reschedule. Does it make one bit of sense to require all my kids to walk through a hallway with a mask on to just take it off? They are working inside their mouth. 🤯 I will never go back. The rudeness and treatment. We all need to wake up and take a stand against this madness. It’s making people crazy.

Had a great experience at Children’s Dental Clinic! Staff were really friendly & professional. Edgar was fun & friendly. Dr A was sweet, funny & has a really cool accent. He was thorough & helpful in explaining terms that I didn’t understand during his exam. Definitely recommend this place! Will be coming back soon!

Both my children Ages 13 & 6 had a cleaning scheduled for today & not only had a outstanding cleaning, but were both given an great information to maintain the up keep for their dental hygiene. I wish I could remember the names of the 2 woman who performed their cleaning because they were great as was the dentist being really informative. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dental care team in Las Cruces.
