This time, taxi won, Uber lost. I had to be at the airport for my 530am. My uber driver didn't show up and he even charged me cancellation fee. Who does that? No one to complain to. I almost missed my flight to Augusta airport, then called all taxi companies around.i just didn't care which one came first This company came first and I wont call uber or Lyft for any early ride again.

One good thing I liked about the service was telling my driver how much I could afford and he was able to work with me for a different amount. I got laid off recently and can't afford to pay the real fare. I don't know if it's because uber is competing with them but it worked out well and my driver was super nice

To the lady that gave negative rating to this company saying she called multiple times but they didn't show up or called back. I know you personally as friend. It is sad that people can give negative ratings to company even when they know they are wrong. You are fond of calling different cab companies at the same time and not caring about wasting time of all of them coming at same time and you going with the one you like. It takes gas, time and money to run taxi business.I am sure they just got tired of your attitude. I use them a lot and I don't have problems with them

I can't say whether American taxi service is better than the way other cab companies used to operate or may be I was just lucky.I searched for taxi near me in Augusta GA, the company driver came sooner than my average driver. I may have been a lucky guy but my driver was really nice that day. Just a recommendation to try these guys out if taxi is required to take you around Augusta

Good Cab service experience. When I arranged a 5am UBbER early drop off at Augusta Airport,my driver called 2 min to pickup time to cancel.American Taxi of Augusta saved me from missing my flight.If you are having a bad day writing bad review because they didn't have a driver for you, have courtesy and call another company.

Got stranded at Augusta Mall with no car and left my phone at home. Borrowed phone to call American Taxi. Without a call back number most companies are hesitant to transact business. They were polite and told me it would be 30 minutes before i could be picked up. They were there in less than 30 minutes. The driver was extremely polite, helpful and a very safe driver. The vehicle was a newer model mini van. I will definitely call these people again if i ever need a cab.
