I went here on NYE as my "last supper" before my diet. Because we all know that Italian food is difficult to replicate while following low carb diets. Anyway, I didn't read any reviews prior to coming to this establishment. The table for the 4 of us was tiny. If the wait staff wasn't diligent in removing salad and appetizers, there would've been no room for the entree. The bread was delicious and, sadly, that was about the only thing good about the food. The spicy spaghetti was terrible. The noodles were overcooked and the sauce had no flavor. Meatballs were mediocre at best. The other meals at

I made a reservation for last Saturday at 6:00. The restaurant closed because all the staff came down with COVID. No one called to let me know and they didn't leave a recording on their phone. I arrived at the restaurant to find a note on the door saying they were closed due to COVID. When I called today and spoke to the manager, he insisted that the owner called me and spoke to me about my reservation being cancelled. I told him no one called me and he kept insisting they did. Either I'm lying and making it up or they are lying. I know I have better things to do with my time then

Food was great. The waiter was awful. He took our order, a half hour later we received our drinks. We had to ask him when we were getting bread and salad, he blamed his fellow workers. We finally got bread a salad, 2 minutes later our entrees arrived. Who ever was running the place was just as oblivious to what was going on. Great food, horrible service.

Food was just ok, the tiny table they put us 4 large adults was way to small but how they cramed us in too close to the tables around us was ridiculous. I could not sit straight on to my table. Thats because the neighboring table was so close.
The lasagna was just ok. Nothing excellent or spectacular to brag about here.
We will not be back. I think with all the people moving to Idaho we are short good restaurants otherwise this place would not make it in my opinion.
The bread was good however- Not a do over

Had some family in town, there were 9 of us. We had to wait quite a while before waitress arrived but it's understandable with the shortage of people willing to work. There were only 2 waitresses and a few very young bus boys. Waitresses were very young but the poise they displayed was incredible. As busy as they were, they friendly and accommodating.

Had reservations at 6. We were seated quickly. Took 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged by any staff. By the time the server came, we were already ready to order. Wine was a large pour. Manhattan was terrible - very light in color and served with ice flakes in the glass. Had to ask for our kids drinks twice before they were brought to the table. Had to ask for water multiple times during the dinner. Took another 30 min before we got bread and salad. Bread was warm and delicious. Salad was bland and not chopped enough to easily eat. It was almost an hour after being sat before the entrees

Amazing bread and great authentic, flavorful Italian food!! Amazing service even during Eagle day when it was inundated with crowds coming in from the heat to eat and drink.
The shrimp pesto linguine, lasagna, and spaghetti with veal meatballs were great! Diffinitely a place to come back to when craving italian!

This seems to be a popular spot in Eagle. It's not really my cup of tea as I'm not in to the heavy Italian food with tons of cheese and huge portions, BUT I know some people are all about that. I had chicken piccata. It was a little heavy on the lemon, but it wasn't bad. Their bread was REALLY yummy.
The wine was kinda "meh," but they gave huge pours, so there's that. The staff was super nice and helpful, and I loved the kind of small town, old-fashioned, family feel.

We had a great 5-star experience here. Made a reservation for the 5 of us about 30 min before we walked into a cute pub-style restaurant that was all set up for us complete with waters and lots of butter and Parmesan cheese in anticipation of a table full of Italian food!
Great service, nice concise wine list with some notables like 94-pt Brunello and some delicious Castellare Chianti. Of course we ended up with a Paso Robles Merlot because they were out of our first two choices, but the merlot was lovely. We also tried a local Riesling and it was a sweeter style, but lovely and it was fun

First time here, we were visiting friends that live in Eagle. I had the Roman (has scallops and shrimp in red clam sauce) fantastic! A little spicy but worth the extra water and two glasses of wine that I drank! My husband and others ordered the chicken picatta, they described it as a cream sauce verses a butter sauce, which caught them off guard. They said it was ok, but wouldn't order it again. The artichoke dip was yummy and dessert was a hit. Great service and atmosphere.

Very first visit so this is what I'm basing my review off of. Walked in the door and it was empty but of course this is right at 5 when the restaurant opens up. Had a reservation for a birthday dinner so that was probably a good call.
-The bread was really good, nice and warm. The crab and artichoke dip could've been good besides all the onion which overpowered the whole thing. The mozzarella sticks were good, have had better though. The wait for our food was too long especially with a baby who was hungry. Good thing we had bread to hold her over. Had a family style salad (like olive

To Yelp friend Monique W. I say 'grazie' since she summed it up just right for me too. "All together this was a mediocre dinner. It wasn't real Italian food." And one knows the eatery is in trouble when another person who awards DaVinci's a 2 star review for lackluster experience points to Bella Aquila (woeful in my humble Yelp opinion) as better Italian food.
Yet DaVinci's longevity in Eagle as apparently a locals (as we have been for five years now) favorite counts for something, servers are cordial and the restaurant uses cloth napkins at the formica top
