My son built a wood locker system for a local ambulance company in my town for his eagle scout project. My son approached Deer Park Stairs for help with wood and supplies, and he spoke with an employee named Bryan. Bryan was extremely helpful, and curious. Bryan helped draw up the plans and provide a list of all the materials he would need for the job. To our surprise Deer Park Stairs donated all the materials and wood for the project. Deer Park stairs and Bryan were so wonderful to work with and supportive of my son. I would highly recommend this company to anyone for their professionalism and

I got my basement stairs redone in October by deer park stairs and they did absolutely wonderful work! I’m not sure what the other reviewers are talking about by saying they’re unprofessional, dismissive, or ignoring calls. From start the finish the entire experience was great. They called to confirm what I wanted, scheduled the job, the builders were on time... they worked very quickly and efficiently, and were respectful and courteous. It was a big job and they still managed to finish much faster than I had expected. I will absolutely use this company again!

I can’t say great enough!!!! What a wonderful company on every level! I had such an great experience working the professionals at Deer Park Stairs! From the start with a knowledgeable and experienced salesman( who actually listened to what I was saying) to timely production and completed job! Beautifully done. I recommend them highly.

Absolute pleasure dealing with this company, Bryan could’ve been easier to deal with. He was willing to work with my busy schedule and crazy hours. From start to finish he and his help were nothing but courteous and clean, at the end of the day everything was cleaned up and removed from the area. The job was completed in the time frame I was told and with the quality I was hoping for. They will exceeded my expectations. Nowadays it seems extremely difficult to find good, reliable and trustworthy businesses, I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done now or in the future

Cannot say enough GREAT things about this company from Anthony my sales professional to Dan the installation professional sent to do the work. It was NOT the biggest job this company does - this I am certain. Regardless from the moment I initially spoke on the phone to set an appointment to pick out the railings through the on site measure to completion it was awesome. Deer Park went the extra distance to suggest and design - the end product is now a statement piece. We knew we would like the railing and posts, after all we picked them out - what we did not know is that we would 1000% LOVE the

Truly can’t say enough about Deer Park Stairs and 2 very special men that work there- Bryan and Paul
My daughter is handicapped and had to have both ankles operated on at the same time. This left her in a wheelchair for 8 weeks.
The problem? I didn’t have a ramp and insurance wouldn’t pay for a temporary structure. I put out a plea on Facebook hoping someone would know someone who could help me.
Enter Bryan.
Not only did he get the building supplier to donate the wood, him and Paul came during a BLIZZARD, on a Sunday to install the ramp a few days before my daughters surgery.
They left

My wife and I could not be happier with the job Deer Park Stairs did. Bryan helped with our design and was incredibly detail oriented so we knew exactly what everything would look like before any work even began. Once Dan started the actual work, we were blown away by how it came to life. Dan’s attention to detail truly made it the perfect staircase. He worked on this project as if it were going in his own house and worked tirelessly for four full days in making it perfect for us. Bryan is an incredibly knowledgeable stair guru- intuitive, easy to work with, professional and very talented. Nobody knows stair details and rise/run calcs like him!
This is the 8th project with Deer Park and they continually provide great value, fast turnaround and an exceptional experience.

I have to say I've been in construction for 40+years and just retired and in the process of renovating my condo and my new railings are unbelievable from start to finish everyone was very professional and courteous starting with Pat,Mike,Jimmy Rolando & Steve I highly recommend this company and wonderful staff hands down Thanks to all involved in my project

Skip this company and go with HB Millwork. While the receptionists are very sweet, everyone else is a nightmare to deal with. Our salesman Brian was extremely rude and so was the owner of the company.
We had to get a second set of stairs made because the first set were garbage - even rude Brian agreed with that. Second set was sub par also, but they insisted that they don't provide a "finished product" and we can just have a carpenter fix the damaged pieces. I don't know about you but I don't expect something brand new that costs thousands of dollars to be damaged

I agree with other reviews that they don't even deserve even 1 star. I would be vary careful about working with this company. There were repeated delays with the completion of my custom staircase and a lack of communication except for when they were seeking payment. Upon installation they did not send enough workers to complete the job in a timely manner resulting in more delays which impacted other areas of my project. They then took it upon themselves without my permission to access my house weeks later to take pictures of the staircase right after the floors had been stained resulting

I'm a local contractor on Long Island. I have been using them for about 12 years. I don't do much staircases but when I do need them Deer Park Stairs always comes through for me. My crew installs it themselves and does all the trim work but as far as the stair building I'm very pleased. Mike is a nice guy and easy to deal with.
As far as the other comment that was negative. I've learned in my 15 years in business that you can't please everybody.
