This place was so good! I was surprised by how cute it was once we stepped into this restaurant. It had many areas for outdoor seating, and even a stage (for live music, but we came during the weekday for lunch!) The veggie quesadilla and the margarita hit the spot. Our server was super sweet too, great service. Would definitely recommend to my friends, and would definitely come back again! New favorite.

My daughter flew in from Massachusetts and wanted to give this place another try because the food is good. The problem is and always has been they are apparently understaffed. We ordered a a steak and a brisket quesadilla wings and a street corn. After about 15 minutes they came back and said they were out of brisket so we ordered two steak quesadillas. When the quesadillas and wings arrived we had no plates silverware or napkins after we asked for them I had finished my quesadilla before they arrived. When the wings showed up with no sauce, we took them back to the chef and asked for sauce they

Fun, quaint, beautiful setting, friendly inviting staff! This is a taco spot everyone should visit while you are visiting Hollywood Beach Florida. Comfortable, cozy seating to enjoy drinks and food with your friends, family and loved ones! The most important thing is is the quality and taste of the food, which they have always made sure it's great every time we come. I will return and always recommend to family, friends and strangers! I can't wait to come back. Thank you for always having good food, plus a friendly, positive vibe!

Okay so I use to live in Hollywood Beach and this place HAD the best Baja tacos and margaritas. I visit Miami over the weekend and one of my MUST GO TO places was here! My friends were super excited! I guess recently this place changed ownership and nothing taste the same! I was a little disappointed! But they always have a good vibe and it super close to the beach! The parking in this area sucks! But the staff was nice and attentive!

6PM for happy hour and taco Tuesday??? I haven't been here since Covid. They changed the taco Tuesday(buy one get one) to ONLY AFTER 6PM??? Common man. Who does that? The bartender, a waiter, and older gentleman all confirmed it. I arrived at 4:30 PM which is around the time HH should start Not 6PM.
I was disappointed in the policy but the food and service are still great.

Awful food. Awful service. My visit was so disappointing as this place used to be good a few years back. Tacos were bland and freezing cold. Took almost an hour to make a few tacos. "Queso" was movie theater nacho cheese, guac was store bought, chips were stale, rice and beans weren't fresh. I could go on and on. No wonder no one was there on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Overpriced and gross. Save yourself a trip.

Passed this place up many times- stopped today for lunch- loved the atmosphere, service and food. The waiter suggested the short rib burrito- decided to try the short rib nachos instead. Huge portion - enough for 2 maybe 3 light eaters to get full on with a few beers! It was quiet at lunch on a Wednesday- want to come back when there is music- seems like a great spot! Prices are high as you are at Hollywood beach- $6.50 for a Corona- short rib nachos $15. Love the fact that they are local and use locally sourced food!

I love coming here especially at night. The vibes be chill and they be setting torches on fire to light up the place. The beach is close as well and you can go chill there after eating some fire food from here. They have tacos, burritos, nachos, drinks, and other foods of course. I highly recommend the burritos and the nachos. Overall it's a really chill and good spot to be at, especially at night.

Calamari was supposed to be an app.. nope! Came in with the food. It has a side sauce of some odd mustard sauce, which they call "their secret sauce" but the server called it Chipotle sauce. He clearly has never tried Chipotle sauce.. lol! It was yellow!
The breading on the calamari was.. soft? It would crumble as soon as you touched it.
Tacos... uuff! Sounded so appetizing until I took the first bite.. these grilled tacos were COLD! Not sure they were freshly cooked honestly. We were hungry so kept eating the first one. The server came around and we told him about it. He said "

The atmosphere is cool. You’ve got music, lights, and a nice patio with plenty of space. Our server was very friendly. But the food was awful. I started with queso and it was the cheese you get when you’re at a stadium at a children’s game. The yellow rice was cold and not cooked all the way. My shrimp and chicken quesadilla was okay, but nothing to brag about.

The vibe is great, the tacos are great, the staff is great! Brandon especially rocks - set me up at the bar when the wait was going to be a little longer, kept me informed as to the progress - total professional.
We had ground beef, shrimp, chicken, carnitas and brisket. Warning: the shrimp tacos are a little spicy. I enjoyed them but it was a little shocking and unpalatable for the kiddos. Everything else was a hit!

My friend and I stopped due to the number of ratings and wanting to try a new place. I honestly regret it. The best parts were the service and the atmosphere, very similar to other reviews. The queso was straight from the bag, just like at the ball park. The tacos were subpar, the brisket was my fav. Kinda a disappointment, but the music was a bop. I would stick to the one that’s on the boardwalk.

I have been 2 times to Taco Beach Shack; 1 year apart may 27, 2020 and May 27, 2021. I am not too impressed with their food as it taste all sweet; with no true Mexican flavors (for a Taco restaurant). Another perspective is that the food taste out of can -- the flavored are consistent but with no true Tex-Mex or Mexican flavors. For example, they don't make their own hot sauces - they only have Valentina Sauce (yellow brand- not spicy - also known for being bad for the high amount of vinegar). Also, i feel the prices are too high for the quantity of food. In contrast to the food, the place

How the mighty have fallen. The last time I came here was probably in 2018 and it was always the best place to go while in the area. The food, pricing, service and vibes were always great. My last visit here this past week was the complete opposite.
You pay for metered parking and it can be a bit difficult to find a spot. We were sat within 15 minutes. Prior to coming in we googled "Taco Beach Shack Happy hour" to make sure we were within the time frame. (10pm-2am $2 Margaritas/budlights and $3 for 3 mini tacos of your choice). One of the best specials ever (RIP).

This is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm in Hollywood! I always make it a point to come here because it's got such a great vibe and the tacos are delicious.
One of the best parts about Taco Beach Shack - even before COVID - was that it's completely outdoors, so you can walk right from the beach and go to eat. However, if it's raining, you're SOL to eat at Taco Beach Shack! Obviously, it's all outdoors, so bad weather will put a damper on things. We have gotten stuck in a stray rainstorm while we were here - we just ate our food and paid as quickly as we could

Simple outdoor spot on Hollywood beach. The margaritas and mojito were on point. Not to strong or weak. The tacos were pretty good and so was the rice and beans. At first I thought, they should be ashamed of themselves for serving these tiny jello cup size rice and beans lol, but after my third taco I realized I couldn't eat everything anyway. The corn to me wasn't the best, it was a little on the hard side. Other than that, great atmosphere, the staff were great and helpful, prices were decent and I enjoyed myself. I will be back.

Taco beach shack is located off A1A, with its own well lit parking lot with a plethora of parking.
On today's date I dined at Taco Beach Shack with my girlfriend, cousin and his wife. There was a lengthy wait (over 60 minutes) however we were advised 10 minutes into the wait that we could go sit at a bar area and order drinks. We did this and were also told we could order food there as well, thus circumventing the 60+ minute wait time.
We ordered Michelob ultra beers, and this is where there situation gets sketchy. A male employee served us the drinks, he was given a $50 bill, and

Went here today for an early dinner. They don't have a private parking lot so you're forced to pay at one of the pricey private lots around the place. We paid $5 per hour.
Upon entering the place they had a DJ set up on the stage playing really loud club music. It was hard to have a conversation.
The place has outdoor seating throughout, so good for pandemic times.
Our server was friendly and took our order quickly.
We ordered a small taco for $5 and a combo of 3 pork tacos, corn on the cob, beans, and rice. The tacos were flavorful, but the rest of the food was tasteless. It

The boardwalk on Hollywood beach was too hot for the doggos so we needed to make a pit stop for some drinks and grub.
We stumbled upon the Taco Beach Shack. This place has all the vibes. It's got a massive outdoor seating area with vibrant colors and fans to help you cool off and great music blasting!
The staff were super chill and brought out doggy bowls for our dogs. We had water with us for the dogs but it's always cool when the servers are looking out for our four legged fam.
We ordered two margaritas and the "Korean short rib & Kimchi" burrito and burrito bowl
