The web site is well designed but very succinct. There is not much information available (more about it below). Quite strangely, once you make a reservation you receive a link to a different site that provides more information. I don’t understand the need for this duplication. In fact some of the information in the second site might help interested customers make a decision.
While we received emails with information about our reservation and we thought we were “in the loop”, we never received the e-mail with the code to access the cabin. Upon arrival, we called the phone number, but we were

Bringing my wife and kids to Wooden Nickel Cabins at Christopher Creek is simply one of the best decisions I've ever made.
It started with taking my wife there for our anniversary: We loved the Payson area and the Cabin so much that we brought our four kids back two months later and have booked AGAIN for the end of July.
We LOVE that we can escape to what we've come to consider "Our Cabin in the woods" (The Wolves Den #4). Now that we're back in the Valley our kids keep asking when we're "going back to the cabin".
We've always been a camping family and went tent camping, later as our family

Let me just start out with this. WOW! This place is AMAZING. Wanted/Needed a quiet get away for the day. the girlfriend and were lucky enough to book the wolf cabin. we arrived pretty late Monday night but the area was very well lit and the signs pointed the way. The access to enter was a breeze. Got right in and felt at home. spacious bedroom, nice living area. we watched TV with the fire going and called it a night. I've never had a better night of sleep the pillows and bed are Comfortable. Waking up and brewing a fresh pot of coffee to enjoy on the patio swing with the birds singing away um

We rented two cabins (wolves den and black bear) at the Wooden Nickel. It was the perfect spot to get away for two nights up in the Payson area. Where to start?! The cabins were super cozy, well appointed, and seemed recently updated. Everything was clean, crisp, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including some great outdoor wine glasses to enjoy a cup by the fire pit. We loved the indoor fireplace as well, and they had dish network which we appreciated. The managers are terrific, check in was so convenient and they were incredibly responsive. Also they had wifi, which worked great since

Wonderful place! If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is it! Very nice cabin, Tom was great, friendly and was always around if you needed something.
Nicely stocked kitchen, full bathroom, living room, TV, nice bedroom and loft upstairs. Beds are comfy, but bring your own pillow, unless you like pancake pillows 😊
Great location, dog friendly! Peaceful and quiet! Bbq and picnic table on the back porch, the front porch has a sitting area and porch swing. I went walking in Hunter creek every day, nice houses to see and it's beautiful!
I look forward to going back!
