When contemplating the end of the marriage, it's important to proceed in a way that minimizes the negative impacts on your children, your finances, your work, and yourself. The highly emotional event of divorce or separation demands that you have someone looking out for your best interests who can look both objectively and subjectively at the facts of your case, and help you to make decisions about how to move forward.
A common misunderstanding in divorce is that child support levels are decided by a simple formula, so there is little to discuss. It's true that Arizona family courts follow guidelines to determine the amount of child support to be paid. These guidelines seek to understand how much the parents would have spent on the child, had they not divorced, or if they were residing together to raise the child.
If you waited a lifetime for your choice to marry the person you love most, you likely joined in the celebration across the country after Justice Kennedy's opinion in Obergefell v. Hodges granting same-sex partners across the country the right to marry. You may now wonder how far those rights extend.
When a married couple has a child, the law assumes the mother's husband is the father of the child. However, things become more complicated when a child is born to an unwed couple. While the mother is assumed to be the legal custodian, the father must prove his paternity unless both parents agree that he is the father.

Biggest thing is that my ex got an extra $30K from me that I didn't even know I agreed to. This was after the divorce was finalized and my savings plan was being divided. I didn't make appointments with the additional people they kept bringing in the room, they never got a consent from me or my sister to do so, and they don't tell you when you have reached your 1 hour limit and then they charge you an additional hour if you go a minute over.

Scheduled a consult with this firm, was 20 minutes late. Thank god it was just a phone consult. Receptionist was rude and didn't seem to value my time. No apology was given for the tardiness. Told her that i was going to look elsewhere and she said ok and hung up.

RPM is by far the best you can get. They helped get me out of a toxic marriage and situation and were so nice and helpful. Matt Randle and Jon made everything so easy and painless for me along the way, they didn't make me feel rushed or uncomfortable at all. When it came time to file the response they helped me through the whole thing and then did all the hard work for me.
