WHY: We want to build a dive center with service that is beyond your wildest expections and change the way that you think about a dive shop. Octopus Gardens Diving is a unique and full service diving center with training, continuing education and equipment for new and experienced divers. The shop is also the new home of the well respected regulator repair labs of Dive Tech Inc.

Services Report

Octopus Gardens is the home of Dive Tech, Inc which maintains and services recreational and commercial dive gear. It also provides air quality tests, commercial dive services, video, custom group trips, and education. Don Peterson's diving career has followed the development of the industry's gear.

Classes / Training Report

If you want to try a taste of scuba before you commit to a full course or have a try scuba party with your friends or co-workers. We provide all equipment. All you need is swimsuit and towel. You can get started right now and complete all of the academic requirements on line. Then you can complete your pool and open-water dives with us, or at a popular vacation destination.

Dive Sites Report

If you are new to diving our local dives, we offer of certified divemasters to guide your dive. You will see a Northwest Maritime Center on your right. You can unload your gear here and park on the street. Watch the current! Call the shop for best dive times. Stop to meditate in the cathedral of metridium.

I drove from Bellevue to Port Townsend to get my regulator serviced there. Great customer service. It’s a small shop but they have any Scubapro gear and accessories you can think of. It is basically a Scubapro showroom. Thanks Omar!

Very professional and courteous. I was totally impressed with the care taken and attention to detail.
The gentleman working was extremely helpful in setting me up for a simple fouled prop dive.....
You could could tell and feel the passion as well as his respect for the Underwater World...

Shop personnel are friendly and knowledgable. Dive classes are excellent, my family has completed the following certifications with them: Open Water, Dry Suit, Nitrox & Deep Diving. The go to place for diving certifications, gear rental & purchase, local area information, equipment inspection/repair as well as tank refills.

Full circle service. The owner is more than knowledgeable on all things scuba and cares about your safety and experiences. As a small shop they don't have a large staff so assistance goes one at a time but their combined experience and quality of information is invaluable.

Fantastic shop, you couldn't ask for more in PT! Great bunch of people with great local knowledge! They've been open less than a year and are already growing - and with a dive site right outside their door there's no reason not to visit! You won't be sorry!
