During Covid, I was going through issues with my dog. He needed Vet care. I had to take out multiple cards because I am on Dissability and a fixed income. Used the cards for the most on his needs and care. I had to file Chapter 13. I told them I was paying 250 out in credit card debt and was falling fast. He said I had to pay up front before they will file. Well he figured the case out to be 310 a month. I couldnt do that if I filed paying out 250 and sinking fast. Told them I needed my money back. I have to figure something else out. They never stepped into a court room. Only gave me 300 back

The attorney I was assigned was horrible, and still is. My case still does not have a closing date and this has been well over one calendar year. Only way to contact him is via email and he barely responds, never returns voicemails. I wish I would’ve explored more options before selecting this company.

I decided not to continue with UpRight services. I paid all my fees and they emailed me several times saying An accounting of services has already been completed to demonstrate that this firm has fully earned the Attorney Fees it was paid. However, you are owed a refund of your filing fee. I contacted them about my refund it was suppose to be over $300 they said they would have it to me in 30 business days. I still haven't received or a call back. They just haven't contacted me back after hassling me.

Upright Law is a scam. I deceided not to file for BK Chapter 7 after paying $1835 and they took one-half saying that they were working on the case. Bullcrap. I have an email proof that the DC attorney did no work on my case. The itemized bill was for Upright Law so called staff to answer the phone, take a credit card payment and both Junior and Senior attorneys to supposedly review my case. IT IS A SCAM!!!.

I had a good experience with upright law. I was a little saddened to know that the lawyer who does all the work gets a fraction of the money they normally would get not going through upright. But the ability to pay 50 bucks every two weeks till the full amount was paid was nice for someone where money was limited. But I would still recommend going directly to the lawyer first but all in all upright did it’s job

I initially hired this company to represent me a bankruptcy case. They were very nice and cordial in the beginning and was very eager to help me out. They told me a lawyer would be calling me soon what she did but what they did not tell me was that because my debt was under $10,000 they weren't going to help me and that I had to go to court by myself. This firm is a joke. Terrible service, went through several attorneys, even the man overseeing my hearing was in disbelief at the incompetence of the attorney. A year later, I come to find out she never filed my reaffirmation papers to keep my car off of the bankruptcy. My payments have not gone towards rebuilding my credit, and they are refusing to do anything about it. They could care less that they screwed this HUGE part of the process up. Do not go here!!!!

After they took 550 dollars from me I found a better way to deal with my financial situation so I cancelled the payment plan I had set up. They call me 2 weeks later to tell me that out of the 550 dollars they have on hold for me that I will only be recieving 75 dollars back for the services rendered. After completing my filing and attorney fee ($1585), I received an email a week later asking for my feedback... I explained that I had not heard from my attorney and I need help with instructions on moving forward. I later received an email giving me the contact info to the attorney that has my case in Atlanta. I emailed (twice) and called several times to no avail. I called customer service several time only to be told that they will send my attorney an "Urgent" email... Still nothing!

Hired upright law for a bankruptcy and did the fee for filing in payments decided no need for bankruptcy because atty never called us back so requested refund was told 30 days no refunds called back advised 30 to 45 days now we are at 62 days and I call and get told not processed that financial department is back logged they can take money from clients but refuse to refund in a timely manner will never recommend to anyone and if your a client go somewhere else next step is BBB And atty which upright law will pay the atty. Get it together upright law can get a refund quicker from Burger King

If I could give zero stars I would. My mom went here to use their services. The lawyer, I can't remember his first name, but his last name was Gutierrez, was so rude and condescending to her. He was yelling and putting his hands in her face. After she paid this scammers her money to help, she never heard anything back and as I type this, they never went to court to solve her issue like she paid them to! She called them and emailed and they told her the lawyer would get back to her, but he hasn't. I feel she was taken advantage of and I'm now helping her reverse the payment with her

I highly recommend this company if you are looking for answers to questions about Bankruptcy. The highly knowledgeable staff are very friendly and put any worries at ease when discussing your options for your particular situation. This company has numerous support staff and agencies at their disposal to better serve anyone that choses to obtain their help.
