I've had my system for two years and just had a tune-up done. The service tech Steve was very considerate and took me thru (my tune up also) to show again how to change times on controller if I want. He was very polite and I've ask him to come back again for the winterization process also.

Just got my system installed last week and Leo and his crew did a beautiful job, they cleaned up everything as they went and it doesn't even look like they were here. The system runs perfect and I have already talked to the neighbors so be ready Water Works! About 3 more installs on my block are coming!

I posted a less than flattering review of Water Werks when they did not satisfy my request to get my Fertigation bottle reinstalled. Desiree from Water Werks called me after seeing the review and asked how they could make things better. I said if they could bring the Fertigation bottle to me, refill it and reinstall in my system, that is all I needed. Desiree immediately scheduled this to be done the next Tuesday morning. The bottle has been refilled and reinstalled so I am a happy camper! Thanks Desiree and Water Works!

Worst irrigation company ever. Did not complete project and refuse to finish the work. Owner has never returned one phone call - must realize what a sham his company is and is too embarrassed to call. DON'T USE THESE HACKS.

You can always tell the integrity of a company by their reviews. I still remember this company telling their service employee that he had spent too much time on my job on a repair (because we paid the $200 up front fee and he couldn't figure out what was wrong) and to leave without even restoring our in ground lighting closures as they were when they arrived. All these years later (15 or so now), this company still holds the record for greatest lack of integrity, care and service. Do the right thing and you will be blessed by it. Keep doing the wrong thing and you'll most likely keep

This company installed our sprinkler system, so we are having them do all start-up and winterization activities, which is where we've had issues. Expect to pay premium for these services, and to still run into issues for which you end up paying yet again (sometimes charged automatically without notification). Even if you have a service plan, it is very difficult to get a clear answer on what is covered and what it is not covered by such service. The company is disorganized. Emails go unanswered. Customers get blamed for any miscommunication. To summarize, their customer service needs a lot

I contacted Water Works for a sprinkler system & was given a quote of $4500 for installation, plus their Ferti-Flo (fertilizer) was given to me for free (a $450 value).

On July 6th, my credit card was charged $2475 with the understanding that the rest of the balance would be due after services rendered. The actual installation took place on July 30th & the workers arrived 2 hrs late. I was told to expect the workers between 6:30-8:30 am; however, they did not arrive until 10:30 am. Since they arrived later than expected, I was not able to receive a tutorial of the system after installation

I'm am really disgusted with Water Werks. I have annual contract that includes fixing or replacing sprinkler heads. The "fixed" a leaking sprinkler head two weeks ago and it was still leaking and now watering the driveway. I called them back to fix it again and this time they fixed the leak but its only watering the driveway. Even worse, they somehow had my credit card on file and tried billing me $140 the first time and $170 the second time. I had to block future charges from them but the photo shows what the $170 would have gotten me.

This Co installed my sprinkler system so I gave them chance after chance to winterize and start it up. It's honestly the most unorganized mess of a co to work with. They are so messed up they now have you pay in advance and guess what they didn't show. Now I have to dispute the charge for $300 for a start up that they didn't even perform. I found another co and bingo $125 and they actually check each stage and adjust the heads so your not watering the house! Don't use them for anything unless you enjoy being disappointed. I'd rather the grass burn up!

Most horrible company I ever hired!! Don't show up for third service as they suppose to and don't call in advance to let me know they are 20-30 minutes away. They overcharged me and took my money from card on file and didn't complete the services they promised to. Poor and unprofessional customer service! Loves to make excuses to avoid giving refunds such as one person says the business person isn't here and to call back tomorrow and next day they say they don't have business person. Then 3rd day I called to fight for my refund back they said they had wrong address to show

Had Water Works install a new system at my home after receiving several quotes. Found WW to be the most comprehensive and best value. There were a couple of minor hiccups (parts not on truck for one component) for initial install but this was remedied within a reasonable amount of time without having to schedule someone at home. Several homes in our neighborhood have used Water Works for sprinkler installs and and I haven't heard any complaints. Have recommended to other neighbors as well. Thanks!

Interesting how this company has so many more negative comments than other companies get any of the negative comments are attributed to competitors or made up names... It's ridiculous and give you an example of what kind of company it really is. Instead of the excuses to fix the issues and retain your paying customers.

Karen - considering we had a maintenance contract with your company, your company losing money is your own fault. The rest of your comments are complete fabrications. Water Works BROKE the pipe while doing the Fall maintenance.

Cody and a couple of the other ladies who answer your phones MOST DEFINITELY had contact with me. I have no idea why you think my husband was appreciative, because he certainly was not.

If you lost money on us, it was your own fault.

Stop with your "we were doing you a favor" stuff. You were MORE THAN happy to take our hard-earned money.
If WW cannot

I can't believe that a business would treat a long term customer the way the Water Works owner just treated me.
We paid $150 to have our irrigation system opened up this spring. The man who came out to do it, said that we had a broken valve and presented us with a written charge for an additional $125, which my husband signed for. When the charge came through on our credit card, the charge was $150. When I called to point out that they charged an additional $25, the owner said that the serviceman must have been using an old price sheet and that it wasn't his problem. I pointed out

First off the job was sold to us by the owners son. He made commitments i.e. to be on the job, to use a machine to pull the lines, and to have the yard cleaned up after job was completed. None of these promises happened.

The office staff were rude and unprofessional.

The foreman did not listen to me as to were lines could not go. So lines need to be moved.

The office charged our credit card without our authorization before job was completed.

Our lawn looks like a war zone.

My wife and I have lived in the Villas of Fisher Farms for 15 years. Shortly after we moved in we discovered that the Association at that time required the villa owner to keep the lawn alive. So 1 number of us banded together with Barry Katz as the organizer. Barry went out to check on prices for sprinkler installation. Waterworks came out to install the sprinkler systems in our neighborhood. They extended the offer to others who wanted to come on board. We were so glad we had the system installed because our lawns stayed alive during the drought that Summer. For more than a decade the company

Yelp just prompted me to finish this review that I started years ago. Unfortunately for me, even THINKING about this company and every shady, deceptive and unprofessional thing they did, upsets me greatly. From the poor installation that eventually required an almost complete re-do by another company, to them arguing back and forth with the city of Naperville about the permits and inspections, to the ultimate act of intentionally breaking our RPZ valve (intentional because no reputable company would forget to do the things they neglected to do) during the final contractual agreed upon shutdown

I have been using Water Works for quite some time and sure, there have been ups and downs but overall my experience has been good. On Friday, a tech came out to start up my system but couldn't because of some cracks in the system pipes. Initially, it wasn't going to be fixed and I was not happy but the owner got involved, as did Amber and everything was repaired and turned on! Although Friday's experience was not great initially, they stepped up and made it right.
Everyone can't be perfect but how you fix your mistakes is what makes you a stand up business or not. Water Works
