Awesome Place,...Visited this place a year or so ago I must say what a huge difference it
looked cleaner , bathrooms were actually clean which is a must for me... ordered food came out fast and hot, the new General Manager Ariana even stopped off to check on us and chatted with us a bit that just doesn't happen anymore. The staff was also helpful, and thanked on my way out by another lady who I'm assuming is the other manager. Just a great overall experience !

Okay so this place is awesome! Unbelievable jungle gym. They lighting the sounds the entire look is unbelievable!
We went on a Wednesday so it was basically empty wich made it easy to keep up with where my daughter was. I actually climbed around a bit my self.
I can't believe how awesome the equipment was decorated and well planned.
We had some pizza at the little cafe. We played arcade games.
We spent about 3 hours here. And we didn't see all the jungle gym. Definately a mist for kids! The staff was outstanding. They were so patient with the kids.
This is a new favorite for us for sure.

I just took it at this point. Paid for the bouncer and no one cared to

My son is 22 months so I took him here. They have a small toddler sections which he breezed right out of and went up into the full climb in the sky jungle gym type area. He had a blast playing there. They do require parents of under 5 to be with them in the play gym so bring socks. Snackbar seemed reasonably priced but we didn't partake. Somewhat expensive to get in at 20 dollars but that includes 1 child and 1 adult.

So where to begin the first half the park was totally awesome I took my three-year-old granddaughter there and she had an absolute blast there is so much to do there it’s not even funny they have I guess you would call it a jungle gym that is literally half the size of the roof I do not know where one part started any other end it my granddaughter would go in One side and come out on the other side of the building it was awesome the reason why I only gave it a four star even know the park itself was awesome their food court leaves a lot to be desired it took me over an hour to get my order after

Great place to bring kids! Adults are free that come along with the kids and you can stay all day. There's a place inside to buy food and there's also an arcade. There's a younger kids area and lots of tunnels for older kids and caves to crawl around it to go down various slides. Socks are required so don't forget yours otherwise you can buy them there! Also you take a selfie before you go in and show the picture on your way out which is a nice safety bonus!

Alright, this place is definitely an experience.
If you are a Disney fan, I'd recommend visiting at least once.
There is a MASSIVE lion king-esque tree in the middle of the freaking place. Surrounded by climbing structures and slides. It's massive, I'm telling you. Lots of running areas as well, but the l if it's are pretty dim so watch out for other crazy kids .

The toddler section, we were not huge fans. It wasn't very clean. Found food stains on a lot of the blocks and there were a ton of sick kids playing around: coughing and sneezing like no tomorrow.

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. It is filthy beyond belief, the bathrooms need to be shut down and deep cleaned because it looks like they haven't been cleaned in months. Extremely understaffed, and my FAMILY CAUGHT COVID here. We are all suffering from CoVid after Makutu's Island, probably due to NOTHING is cleaned, wiped down, or sanitized here.

The kids loved it. Some things I could even follow the kids in. Wore them out! We will be back. Bring cash change if you want to sit in a massage chair while your kids play. They claim to be cashless, yet the massage chairs only accept cash. Get a massage chair with a credit card reader then.

I'm in Arizona for a couple of days with my son and its too hot to go outside. Makutu's island had a Groupon which was quite reasonable. The place smelled like feet but what kids play place doesn't. At the end if the day, it was a fun, safe place to play.

This was a huge let down went with two younger kids, ages 5 and 4 and we get there no one is working the desk. They ignored us for 10 minutes because they had a birthday party and that's where three employees were at consumed with private parties. Finally got the attention of one and they charged $17 for each kid for literally nothing. It was a joke it's a huge tree house and arcade we walked in then out. At least I got a refund on ticket but save your money Chuck E Cheese is way better

Fun place for older kids. It's pretty dark and my 3 year old was slightly scared. He really enjoyed the arcade side and so did we. The games were super fun. There's no social distancing and you don't have to wear a mask. The beers are pretty expensive, but the pizza is super good. I probably won't be back just cause my kid only enjoyed the arcade. Also they make you take a picture of your family to make sure you leave with the children you brought in but they don't check when you're leaving so it's pointless.

Place is actually pretty small in real life gets pretty packed and crowded. Toddler area packed into the corner nothing special . Paid extra for things I didn't even receive. Keep close eye on your child when you are here other parents are stuck up and seem to get upset when kids take turns in certain areas to play due to it being so small .

This place gets pretty packed pretty fast.. I feel like this place is geared more towards kids probably 6-12.. maybe... they don't really have a big toddler section... and it's pretty expensive.. like others has mentioned I saw another person trying to use their Groupon deal but they were advised they weren't able to use it on a weekend.. Even though for older kids there's a lot things to do and it's nice to have an indoor play are BUT I rather go elsewhere..

Clean easy and cheap. We had a great time. There are a bunch of slides A small zip line and all kinds of places you can crawl. It also has a small food bar just in case you get thirsty or hungry. I would definitely recommend a child over four. It can be difficult for three and four-year-olds to get up all of the jungle gym. It also could be a little bit more adult friendly most of the areas are very tight squeezes for parents to join their child.

Exactly like another reviewer stated, my Groupon wasn't accepted and I was price matched at a higher price then I paid for my Groupon although I showed the receipt.

This place is expansive which is nice a lot to do.
The bathroom was disgusting as was it last time we visited. Toilet paper all over the floor, soap empty etc.

Honestly this is a great option for kids to run around and have a great time while in air conditioning. It is a little dirty but whatever still a great time. When eating there drinks are about 3 bucks each and food is around 5 bucks. Overall a good option for kids.

This place was okay, it's understaffed at the moment so I was patient with the staff, they were courteous but the wait time for food was good, it did take a while and it came in waves it also took the guy a bit to get us the ranch we ordered but he was super nice. If you haven't been here before it can be a little confusing at it was for me, a lot of tablets you have to use to order or sing the waiver etc. When we first arrived we were standing around waiting for assistance so that was a bit frustrating. The place is cute, cleaner than some of the kid places I've been to, my girls

Today in the cafe, Tim went out of his way to provide amazing customer service. Thank you Tim and the Makutu's Island team!!

Haven't been here in over 10 months since Covid. They reopened and changed some of the check in processes. The system didn't remember us so we had to check in again. The lady who owns it is nice and helped us through the check in process. They don't use wrist bands anymore, but they do make you take a phone photo of your family, so that when you leave they can see what kids were in your photos. They never checked ours when we left.

We stayed for over 1 hour. The cost was 40 dollars for entry, each kid is like $20, with one parent accompanying them for free. One each.

Lots of

This is such a neat place! It's definitely a place that's worth checking out. There's a huge tree playground in the center with a toddler area and an arcade. There's so much to do and you can easily spend half a day here. But there's some downfalls to this place. It's SO DARK! My sister-in-law was in shock on how a kids playground can be this dark and be okay! My youngest, she's 3, was terrified of being left alone and didn't dare go in the dark areas. There's also so many small spaces that if you're too tall you won't be able to navigate.

This place isn't what it use to be. Still decent tho. Mostly upset my pizza took two hours and they gave me pepperoni and I asked for cheese. The woman told me well the kitchen is closed so maybe you can pick them off. Like no I don't eat pork. Just give me my money. SMH some people.

My eight-year old loves this place. He wanted to go for his birthday last week and I wasn't sure if they were open yet, but we called and they were! It was pretty dead inside, likely due to COVID, so my son got free reign over the whole place (don't expect that on weekends, though!). The tree house playground idea is fantastic for kids of all ages and it wears them out well. We wound up buying the annual Fun Pass, and they put the $20 admission fee toward the $80 cost of the annual pass, which was helpful. That'll be great in the summer in particular when it's too hot to be

A solid 4 stars. The playground area is very large with a robust selection for kids of all ages to explore. This is our preference over a trampoline park or other alternative. There is a copious amount of seating for adults and is overall a fantastic atmosphere for families looking to expel energy for the little ones. The equipment seems to be cleaned and repairs and patching appears to be regular.

What needs work? The check-in process. It needs to be smoother and the employees need a little more urgency when dealing with parents trying to pay and deal with their excited little one(s). For example

I decided to try this place out since they had a Groupon ($13 for one adult, one child) I got to Makutus around 3-3:30p on a Tuesday. This place was dead (just how I like it!)!!! I was expecting a mad house due to the reviews on here. I honestly checked to make sure it was open before getting my son down. I forgot to do their waiver ahead of time but luckily it was super easy and quick. It didn't ask for addresses, driver license #s, SSN (I'm kidding) nothing! Grip socks required.

The 3yrs and under play area was okay! Nothing super spectacular, my child was over it after like 30mins

Just to be clear- here are my reasons for a one star review: customer service is always key especially when the establishment caters to kids, price is more than average, cleanliness is questioned, and last but not least, customer service again!!

Original: This place is a kids mad house!! First off, I bought a groupon and the fine print all the way close to the bottom of the 20 sentences of fine print states that is not valid on weekends. Ok, they should of made this more clear. We don't even live in the area and the cashier states right away "not valid on weekends so we will price match
