One star for today I broke my foot 4 weeks ago and my husband and I have been planning on coming here for some Christmas shopping and they no longer provide wheelchair or scooter assistance! How nice of them not like I can walk on the tile floor and risk the slip of a slip and fall not that if I should I'd get any money from them anyways! So my husband and I just left with nothing and now we have to go and search of separate stores because we know they all have wheelchairs! Isn't this an Americans dbl act law???!!!

It's a mall. Lots of stores have closed or left since the pandemic. I have a friend who had a locally owned store here that was given almost no notice for what was essentially an eviction. A bigger non-local store wanted their spot after they'd poured money into equipping the space. It's more complicated then that, but that's the general idea of my experience with the mall as a business itself. Kind of scummy I'd say.
Also, after both of my most recent visits about a month apart I got home to find someone had been stabbed inside the mall while I was there. Not sure that's the mall's fault, but

Totally unsecured place!! The secure guards are useless, just walking around and doing nothing! I’ve been a whiteness of several robberies at Macys, Perfume Stops and kiosks which are in the middle of walking area between the stores. Toilets are not working, always some out of service. Nobody cares what the hell going on in the mall. The worst experience I’ve ever faced.
Just for you to know guys - if you go to that mall get ready to protect yourself without relying on dumb security and police. They won’t appear and even though they will - they literally do nothing to help your issue.

Excited to have this story in our area. However, poor customer service from a couple of the sales associates. There was one sale rep helping a customer, another looking up information, I presume, for a customer and another straightening the back counter with people waiting and then proceeds to walk away. Very poor service!

This place is huge and has so much to do and so many places to shop. There's food, games in the arcade, and lots of stores. There was what they called an indoor amusement park as well. Can't wait to go back. I gave a four because the bathroom doors didn't lock in the ladies room and the food court seating is extremely small and hard for bigger people to fit in. If you're going to visit this place for more than a quick stop and shop I recommend making it a day trip so you have time to experience everything this place has to offer.

There are relatively few shops in Syracuse and even less are open which is extremely frustrating. However, this mall serves as a stop-gap for most of your shopping needs. The food court has a good variety of cuisine and the shops are of high caliber. Also, there is a nice mix of independent stores which is great. If you are in Syracuse, definitely hit this up.

This is a really nice shopping mall! It's full of surprises. Plenty of shops to choose from and the entertainment possibilities is it for me! Housekeeping please remember to wipe off seating in the main areas of the mall. I noticed a lot of spilled drinks and trash. I sat for a moment and got up to find something sticky on my bottom😳

Lol this mall man, its just huge. Three floors and that's just the one regular part of the mall not including "The Canyon." They've got everything here I've ever seen and way more. There are loads of stores, restaurants, and I really love the activities part of the mall with different things to do. It really is a come for everything kind of place and a neat thing to visit in the Syracuse area. Admittedly there are a load of chain stores here but like seriously, it's an American shopping mall what do you expect? Loads of parking and entrances and a large indoor parking

This mall is a very large doing complex located near i90/Fairgrounds in Syracuse. It has a lot of things to offer... Both economical and higher end clothing stores. Nightlife/recreational activities for all ages is also not off shirt supply. There's plenty of restaurant offerings as well as a food court. We often make a day trip of it and shop here when we are in Syracuse.

I am prompted to write this because I think that it is important that people know about this. There was an incident involving a young girl getting her hand stuck in an escalator as it was going down. There was blood everywhere. I feel very bad for the family and for those of whom who also witnessed it take place... needless to say it ruined our shopping experience.

I guess I'm still nervous about going to the mall. They're were not nearly as many people for a Saturday evening. No Waiting at Johnny Rockets! I guess I'm just feeling like it's still too soon. I was afraid people were too close. Even for a moment. People eye not wearing masks properly. They would have them down around their chins while walking, laughing, talking...like abby other trip to the mall. Others not covering their nose. If I have to cover MY mouth and nose to even enter the mall and walk through the mall, so does everyone else.

The skincare products are a scam, and you will be coerced into buying them. It was a BAIT and SWITCH. I agreed to try a Gold Elements eye cream, and it appeared to tighten

I will start off by saying I am not a people person and I hate malls.
There is about 100 ways to get in and twice that of things to do.
The great thing about this place is the ample parking. I would avoid it in December, but otherwise should not have a problem finding a spot.
The main attractions I go to in the mall are Auntie Annes and Cold Stone. Conveniently located next door to each other, right by the Best Buy entrance.
I do not stick around for the crowds or groups of kids who have nowhere else to go.

So, I am NOT a mall shopper. I thrift. I shop online in the middle of the night. And it's tough to get me to shop with others because I don't like spending a lot of time in stores. So this little trip was quite interesting.
We spent the day at Destiny USA before heading the the State Fair and I really do like this mall. There's tons of shopping, activities for the kids, and plenty of selections to eat. Obviously, most of the dining options are your standard shopping mall cuisine, but there's something for everyone.

If Syracuse didn't have this mall, nobody would probably live here. Let's be honest, there's not much to do in Syracuse. And just about everything else there is to do, it's located in Destiny USA. You can shop, play games, catch a movie, get adventurous and climb some things. This mall has everything.
It's great for kids because they will never get bored. It can get expensive, but make sure to check out the customer service areas for coupons. There's also fun strollers available for the kids. Don't worry about the price, you get your money back when you return

While this is one of the largest malls that I've ever visited, one might think I was heaven. However, during my visit I was too overwhelm to actually be able to enjoy the trip.
Pros:
-Plenty of parking
-Most American stores inside the same roof
-There is corner full of outlet stores
-public transport is nearby

-Stores are not organized in a logical way. I was easily disoriented and the signs weren't easy to follow
-The new section of the mall feels a little bit disjointed
