Moose Country Lodges are owned and operated by three families who have enjoyed the Lodges annually for over 30 years. The Andersons, Humrichs, and Hedetniemis welcome the opportunity to preserve the Lodges, continue family traditions, and share a special summer lifestyle with guests who appreciate the Upper Peninsula, the town of Michigamme, and the Lake.
Moose Country Lodges are on the western end of Lake Michigamme where a busy day on the 4,360 acres of lake reveals hardly a dozen boats and the clear air gives a view from your front window of Van Riper State Park beach, almost 7 miles distant. Sunrise over the lake is matched only by moonlight on the water at night and the occasional aura of Northern Lights.

Services
Moose Country Lodges offers four cabins available for weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday. The cabins front on Lake Michigamme and have two bedrooms with queen size beds, bathroom, living room/dining area, and well equipped kitchen. The cabins are fully furnished and comfortably accommodate two adults and two children or four adults.
