I found Colleen here after hunting for a new stylist not only because of the Covid break but I had parted ways with my prior lady just before the world fell apart.
I have been twice, once in the summer and most recently on Friday. I'm very happy with her attention to detail regarding cut and color. The first time I left it loosy goosy since it was our first time together, I was happy with the color and cut but I prefer straight high and low lights versus full head color which we did the first time. Just seems to work better for me overall since I'm not a clockwork kind of gal with regular

I am new to Santa Rosa and called Colleen based on positive reviews. She said she charges $75.00 for a simple haircut. Her website states $65.00 and her booking site states $70.00. I booked online and arrived on time, despite the inadequate parking alley. Colleen was shampooing a client's hair and the two were enjoying a gossip rant. The salon is dark and the music is loud. Colleen did not introduce herself or welcome me. She was running behind and said I could sit on the couch (with her dog!) How long? Just got home from having my hair cut and colored by Colleen. No one cuts my hair like she can, and I always feel so good after she is done. She is my anti-depressant. She knows how to handle curly hair, my color is lovely, and my hair feels healthy (saying a lot since I am 60 with thinning dry hair). Also, I love visiting with her dog, listening to and singing tunes, and just getting a general glow up.

I rarely write reviews, but this one is one that I wish had existed before I made an appointment here (in large part because all of this totalled $245 before tip). I scheduled a touch-up (we added a trim and blow dry as well) with Colleen after I could not manage to book the stylist that was recommended to me when mine moved out of state. Perhaps I set the tone poorly by saying I didn't have my formula because it was transferred to another stylist who was super booked, but I thought everything was fine as she powered through working on my hair. Colleen is a hair goddess. Unafraid of my waves and texture she gave me the layers other stylists in the past have been afraid to do. I am working on growing my hair out but I needed a visual change and she delivered. Not too much length off the bottom layer but tons of fun texture and layers up top.
Colleen was fun and easy to talk to (no awkward silence like with some stylists). She's got jokes for days, super sarcastic and witty. Great music, welcoming environment and exactly the kind of experience I needed. No boring beige walls and lame music in this place.

What an exercise in frustration! I booked an appointment with high hopes of getting a fabulous haircut based on the reviews I read here. This morning, the day of my appointment, I get a confirmation text that also said, "cash is preferred". I wish I knew that when I first booked so I could make sure I had cash on hand. I know it wasn't required, but I made a special trip to my bank to get cash, in support of this small business trying to due business during COVID. Colleen's skills are incredible. Went in feeling down because my thinning hair had become an embarrassment to me. I now have an easy to maintain, fabulous new style that makes the most of the hair I do have. No more time and energy spent trying to cover up (and keep my hair in place).

I've been going to Restoration Hair Salon for almost a year & haven't looked back. Colleen Wagner & her incredible team are not only amazing stylists but Colleen is an artist! She is a bonafide miracle worker for damaged tired hair. When you walk in, there are smiles, hugs & laughs, & sometimes tears when life gets tough. Made an appointment with Colleen to restyle my very curly hair based on the reviews posted.
Was somewhat nervous because after all, it's my hair we are gambling on!!
My normal style was so difficult to work with, would do best attempt but always ended up just putting in a ponytail and calling it done.
Colleen asked me what I was unhappy with and took it from there. Although she is Deva cut certified, I was unsure of committing to that, so the end result is somewhat of a hybrid version that allows me to leave natural curl as well as smooth out areas around my face.

So, based solely on Yelp reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Colleen. And I'm so glad I did!! The salon is clean and the staff & patrons alike are very friendly. Colleen has a fun, vibrant personality and I enjoyed getting to know her.

Restoration is the perfect name for this salon. Colleen fully restored me and made me feel beautiful again. The music was on point and it's a super comfy place to hang out. Easy to find and plenty of parking. I went in for my way overgrown hair and was not disappointed. It's absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Colleen has 30 years of experience and continued education. She loves what she does and it shows. Her prices are great and she's actually a really cool chick! Highly recommended!!

I was recommended by Julie at Halo to go to Colleen at Restoration Hair. Why? Because Colleen is the only stylist in the area that still does perms. So the first time I go, I'm nervous so, I only got a full highlight and cut - and Colleen did an exceptional job with both the cut and highlight - as good or better than I've gotten at the famous salons in San Francisco. (Yay! I'm blonde again and I don't have to drive to San Francisco!)

I am from Southern California and sure know my way around hair salons. I don't think I've ever felt so secure in what a hairstylist was doing until I came to restoration hair. Colleen was terrific! Good prices, excellent customer service. Cute little place. Really a gem of a business. She listens to what you need and want without acting like most hairstylists. It was well worth the round trip drive of 5hrs it took me to get there. I sure got lucky with Colleen.
