The Upholstery Shop is a spin off of Carry-All Products, Inc. which was started by Ken and Pat Rademacher in 1983 here in West Michigan and is now owned by their son Chuck Rademacher. The Upholstery Shop built and expanded on the expertise of Carry-All Products which designs and manufactures custom sewn fabric products.

I needed 3 leather like cushions recovered, 1 from a chair, 2 from a couch.
Chuck was there to help me when I arrived.
He found samples for me to choose from, I asked about the quality, durability , price. He acted annoyed with my questions like I was wasting his time.
He left a voicemail with in 1 week that they were ready. I called him back asking for the final cost.
When picking them up I learned a $12 surcharge for using my debit card (3%). Really? I suggested to include this in future voicemails to customers since carrying around a check book is becoming less and less common.

They reupholstered one of our treatment tables in our clinic and did a beautiful job with it, however communication to get it done was less than par- they wanted me to come in a choose a fabric when their hours are minimal and we operate all day long so there was no chance I was coming in. All we needed was vinyl and they finally proceeded with it. After it was completed, Chuck called and was super rude saying they haven't been paid (it's pretty standard to receive payment within 30 days for a service that was done for a business). We where delighted with the work that was done on an old 1860's love seat.
After 1 year it looks just like it was done yesterday.
The place is clean and without any cigarette residue.
