Tri-County Nursing Home has become a reality because of the pressing need for a first-class nursing facility in the Lower Suwannee River Valley embracing the Florida counties of Gilchrist, Dixie, and Levy. Area citizens recognized and responded to the need, forming a not-for-profit entity to develop and operate the quality healthcare center they knew would be a great asset to the community.
So Tri-County Nursing Home came into being as a result of there being caring people. Our Skilled Nursing units provide round-the-clock attention from compassionate, licensed nurses. Residents receive quality nursing care and other health-related services by trained and sensitive professionals. Our facility offers intensive rehabilitative therapy in our fully-equipped therapy departments.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They don't have the staff to be running this facility. Most of the time there are 2 CNAS on 3 halls. The Florida staffing ratios states that a facility may not staff more that 20 residents to one aide. At any point in time at night there are multiple call lights going off for 30 plus minutes due to the fact they do not have enough staff on the floor, not only is this dangerous to the residents it's not safe for the staff. These aides work so hard for barely over minimum wage. These residents are not getting the care they deserve. Do you think your

This year makes 20 years I have been at TCNH. I tried to retire but have come to realize that this place and it’s staff are like family to me & I just can’t leave them behind. I’ve had family there for rehab… and the staff has been wonderful to them. I guess it’s the reason I continue on - no place else I’d rather be. Congratulations TCNH on your achievements. I’m proud to be a part of that.

I've worked at different facilities and Tri-County is by far the best. Friendly staff, clean, and organized facility, the staff treats everyone like family, the teamwork is great! The doctors are great and also the food is out of this world! Not like normal nursing home food that's for sure! I have nothing but great things to say! keep up the good work Tri-County Staff!
