We had a 50th Birthday celebration for my wife. Courtney was absolutely wonderful to work with, and she was with us every step of the way in the planning and coordination of this event. Whatever we wanted or needed she got it done and took all the pressure off of us. The party was a complete success. I would highly recommend that you hire Courtney for any of your event planning needs.

Absolutely amazing! My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with how wonderful everything came together for our wedding day. Shelby did a phenomenal job planning and coordinating our day in a matter of a couple months. Despite our short deadline and hectic schedules, Shelby and the La Luz team found the time to work with us and put together a beautiful wedding, incorporating everything we were hoping for.

After spending 7 months planning and re-planning our wedding due to COVID, Shelby stepped in and beautifully put together our dream wedding in a little over two months! Shelby handled my wife's retirement party, with 110 guests, flawlessly. She dealt with all of the vendors (food trucks, band, bartender, table rentals, etc.) to ensure that the evening's program flowed seamlessly. Shelby had an extensive checklist, to make sure that no detail slipped through the cracks. All of the guests had a great time and we got so many compliments on the party, thanks to Shelby's creativity and organizational skills. I cannot recommend Shelby and the La Luz team enough. I was hesitant to get a wedding coordinator thinking that I would not need one, but I am so so so glad that I decided to. It was the best money we spent. Planning a wedding during 2020 was a total nightmare, but Shelby handled all the constant change and chaos with such ease and poise. My original venue canceled on me less than two months to go until my wedding day, and Shelby helped replan the whole day flawlessly. Shelby helped our daughter plan an amazing wedding in just a few months. She was always available for questions and advice and guidance and took care of all the research and contacts with all of the vendors. She even worked closely with myself and the groom's mother on many of the details. The day of the wedding was a dream!. She and her team handled everything! Shelby even helped my husband put on his cuff links!! Many of the guests commented on how great they were and we agreed! Loved knowing all was going to be exactly as our daughter and her husband planned!

We Can’t recommend Shelby enough! She’s smart as a whip, so personable, and has saved my fiancé and I so much money by being an amazing researcher and well-connected professional. If you’re debating getting a wedding planner- do it! It will save you money and make it so much more fun to plan the wedding. All my married friends have told me they wish they had gotten a planner (in hindsight) so it’s really something to consider! I can’t imagine working with anyone more fun and organized than Shelby @ La Luz! 10/10 highly recommend and I will shout it from the rooftops for everyone to hear

Shelby coordinated my wedding in Belize! Shelby managed to plan and execute my entire wedding while also being a part of the wedding party! She was professional, enthusiastic, creative, and above all stress free the entire time, which was extremely beneficial for a stressed out bride!!! I had so many guests tell me my wedding was one of the best they have ever been to and I give that credit fully to Shelby's hard work and enthusiasm!
