When we started selling and dealing with Antiques and Collectibles in 1989, we were permanent dealers at the N.C. State Fairgrounds Flea Market and sold at Antique shows all over the state. After we had done this for a time (while holding down full time jobs) Ron got his Auctioneer License and Auction Firm License in 1993.
Afterwards he went to Auctioneer Appraisal School in Atlanta Georgia. Ron also taught a course in Antiques and Collectibles for a while at Wake Technical College. Currently we conduct Auctions, Estate/Tag Sales, Consignment Sales, Online Auction Sales and Personal Property Appraisals. There are presently no upcoming events.

Services
We conduct Estate and Tag Sales, On Site Auctions, Consignment Sales, Online Auction Sales and Personal Property Appraisals. When we conduct an Estate or Tag Sale we usually hold a 1, 2 or 3 day sale. To prepare for the estate sale we sort, stage and price the items. Any cash or found items the family did not know about will be returned to the family.
The family should get everything that they want before we look at the estate for evaluation. When we see the estate for the evaluation we will be basing our sale on the items in the estate at that time. We will use our many resources and decide if the item needs to be sold at a local upscale auction, private collector or an auction such as Christies or Sotheby's.

Friendly but questionable practices. When bidding on bigger items reserve price should be announced. Spent time bidding against a ghost. They keep items on their web site even after almost a year of being won furthermore the price won does not reflect their added fees. Looks good for them, that is all they care.

Fowler Auction handled the auction of my Dad's farm in late April, 2017. Daniel Culp was the auctioneer. Daniel and his associates did a great job of preparing the personal property for sale. The day of sale was better than I hoped. There were lots of helpers there for the auction. I thought it was very efficiently and professionally handled. I am sure I netted much more from the auction than I would have by selling the property myself. I would use Fowler Auction and Real Estate again.
