Occulus Films is a family-owned business started by two brothers with a shared passion for storytelling, especially through the medium of film and video. When Nick went to military school, and Dominic travelled the world as a hip-hop dancer, neither lost their love for movies and filmmaking. What started as a couple brothers running around the yard making YouTube videos became something more.

We are a family-owned video production business currently based in Tempe. We love to serve dance studios in the valley and understand that these moments are precious for families. They want them preserved to watch down the road - and we want to make that as easy as possible. Unlike the traditional dance recitals sold on DVD, we make your dance recitals available online using a video-on-demand web service.

Nick is highly professional and knowledgable in the video production space. When you've been doing something for a long time, it shows in the details and quality of product - Nick stands as a great example of this. There are lots of film production companies in Arizona, but a select few that work with the level of professionalism that you might find in a bigger film market like Los Angeles. Occulus is one of those production companies that holds its standard to that of the "big boys" in the industry. I've worked with Occulus Films multiple times and have known Nick for years. He always goes above and beyond with every project, pushing for the best possible quality while maintaining a high level of efficiency and professionalism. Nick even allowed me to negotiate use of their studio space as a location for one of my own films, a product of their willingness to support to indie film community around them.
