Sherri did a wonderful job with my hair! I haven't had a hair appointment in over 7 months and she took on the challenge. I like the way she gave me her honest opinion on how I should cut my hair. I feel like most stylists are afraid to give you their take for fear that you'll hate it and blame them. Definitely going back soon.

I have been to Swank several times and have always had a good experience until today. Sherri was kind enough to get me scheduled the morning of my Wedding Day.
I had Michelle and she was irritated and rushed the whole time. Her attitude made me very anxious and it turned into a very uncomfortable experience overall.
I didn't feel listened to and my hair didn't turn out how I wanted it. I left in tears and now have to rush to find another salon who can do my hair the way I want it for my big day.
NOT THE EXPERIENCE I WANTED AS A BRIDE ON MY SPECIAL DAY.
I will only be going back if I can book

Patty is one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life! We had trouble finding a parking spot so we had to park around the building and arrived late. When we got in the door she just stared at us. She exclaimed, “You could have parked , RIGHT THERE!,” waving both of her hands at the handicap parking space which we tried to squeeze in next to, but couldn’t fit. She then argued about the spot next to it being open. She simply stared and us until I asked her name. She said “Patty” and nothing else... more staring. I asked my daughter if she still wanted to get her hair done here because

Sherri, the owner, is incredible. She's been doing hair for decades and is on top of all of the latest products and devices for hair. You can ask her anything and you'll always get a straight forward, honest answer. She truly is a color expert for blondes, red or brunette. I'ved been them all.
She's especially great for hiding gray hair w/o doing an overall color. That way you don't have to worry about roots growing in all of the time. Just went to Swank for the first time today for a Keratin treatment and trim. The stylist I got was Patti and she was amazing! My hair looks so shiny and healthy after months of dry old balayage hair. I actually ran into a friend at Walmart right after my appointment and i got a text from her "your hair looked so healthy and shiny, tell me your secrets!"
Patti was so sweet and did an amazing job and I will definitely be back :)

The last 2 times I've purchased something in this shop, the owner has screwed me on the price...AFTER charging my card. This time I was told the items were 20% off. It was only after handing me the reciept that I was told they were already marked down. I go into the salon frequently. I've seen these things before. I know what they cost. They were not marked down. I used to buy from her often. Hopefully the $8.00 was worth it because now she's lost a long term customer and received a BAD review!!

Love her! I had been out of the country for several months and when I returned I looked like a Yeti. I heard that Swank was the place to go. I went and it was awesome! When I left I felt like a new man. The staff are professional, extremely competent, and nice. I would recommend Swank Salon to anyone.

Rob did a great job with my haircut. He's experienced and knowledgeable. He listened to my explanations of what I wanted, and offered suggestions for solutions to my frustrations with my previous style. Also, he used a razor to texture my hair, which is exactly what it needed.
Overall, the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant; they even served me wine and a bottle of water.

Vicky is my very favorite stylist in the DFW area.
Her cut and color always turn out gorgeous! She is flexible and is super helpful for those times that I accidentally kill my hair and need emergency hair help. I love this woman. I highly recommend her. Vicky is super knowledgable and just amazing. If you haven't had her before, give her a try you won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately, my hair is way fried like Cotten. The owner of the place had bad luck and was understaffed. Only bad thing is I had to pay for it. My hair is destroyed....way over processed. She left color on my hair for about four hours ., any other salon I had been to it was only left about 3o min. Clients kept showing up and she would tend to them and put me off. Really liked the lady but devastated with my results

So i love these people so much. I've been going here for about a year now and they've got my hair down to an art. It's absolutely beautiful. I like how clean they are with their technique and I'm so down to let either Vicki or Sherri cut my hair any day of the week. I give them coloring permission too and I have had loads of compliments when that's happen. Hands down one of the best salons I've been to.

I had a good experience here on my first visit. They squeezed me in within the hour and when I arrived only waited about 10 min. I was a little skeptical at first because I'm a city girl and I wouldn't consider it "upscale " atmosphere although cute.
Gloria did my hair and she was sweet and did a wonderful job. Very good quality hair cut-- that's what matters right?

I absolutely love this salon! I have been a loyal customer for 7 months now! Everyone is so sweet and welcoming! Tiffany Rutherford is my go to girl, I get extensions cut and color and my hair has actually grown 4 inches in 7 months! I also go in weekly for blowouts! The salon uses nothing but the best when it comes to hair products and Diane gives the best washes and head massages! Make sure you check out this salon for the best prices and tip top quality!

Swank is going to be my new home away from home. Sherri and her staff are the sweetest and are so welcoming to make you feel right at home. The interior lives up to its name. Very swanky and posh. Sherri is a veteran stylist and she knows hair. I was so impressed with her pre-consultation and how she kept informing me of what she would be doing next through the process. She also offers styling tips throughout your appointment . Overall a genuine and pleasant experience and I love my ombré and cut!!!

I am new to the Addison area and I am thrilled that I found the Swank Salon. The atmosphere was great, "swank" is a perfect word to describe it. I needed to make a last minute appointment and the staff was more than accommodating. I received the best highlights/low-lights of my life! They blended very naturally. The cut was fantastic too! I highly recommend Swank Salon. I found it very clean, professional, great products, and a friendly staff.

Came here a couple of months ago. nice place and staff. offered beverages and greeted me. 15 min wait because the stylist didn't show up yet, not too bad
i had hair down past my waist and just wanted to thin out my layers because they were too thick on one side. i wanted to keep my length. plan was to thin it out a little and have a second appt to get my hair colored balayage style.
2 hours and 45 minutes after starting my hair was 5-6 INCHES shorter, a few inches past my shoulders. it was a nice haircut but was not what i wanted at all. i'm now waiting for my hair to grow back just

I'm super bummed, I haven't found a hair stylist since moving to DFW and this place is right up the street. I got there and was told she was running ten minutes late. After 35 minutes, and no check-in, I just got up and left (owner was at the counter almost the whole time and didn't say one word to me; she even watched me leave without a word!).
I rushed from work to make this appointment and I wish they would have been more respectful with my time. I was excited to find a good stylist I could come back to, plus I needed some Moroccan products... Bummer.

I was so worried about trying ombre on my hair, and I couldn't find a place in Fort Worth that I trusted enough, so when I stumbled upon Swank on yelp, and read the great reviews, I took the hour drive out there to see what they could do. Karen, who colored my hair did an amazing job! Everyone who works there is so nice and the moment you walk in, they make you feel welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Never thought I could pull off blonde hair, ever! When I had to for a shoot, my agent recommended I come here. Sherry matched my skin and eye color perfectly and gave me the best cut I have ever had. The atmosphere is relaxing, and I never have to worry about not getting the style I wanted. Love this place and recommend it everyone!
