You should see your dentist at least twice each year. These regular "maintenance" checkups are vital to ensuring your teeth and gums are healthy. You're pregnant (pregnancy can cause several dental issues, including a painful inflammation of the gums). You have a heart condition (frequent cleanings have been proven to reduce the likelihood of strokes and heart attacks).
We view your health and safety when visiting our offices as the highest priority. We diligently work to prevent the spread of infection by undertaking a robust cleaning and sterilization routine. Before each and every exam, all surfaces including the dental chair, dental light, drawer handles, and countertops are sanitized and disinfected.
Teeth cleanings by our friendly and experienced dental hygienists will keep your smile bright and healthy. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that adults undergo professional teeth cleaning at least every six months. Regular dental cleanings will extend the life of your natural teeth and potentially help you avoid costly restorative dental work.
Cavities can affect people of all age groups. In a healthy mouth, the enamel, or hard outer layer of the teeth, protects the softer tissues inside. Eating or drinking acidic foods can attack the enamel, forming a sticky layer loaded with bacteria, known as plaque, which eats away at the enamel and creates an opening.
If you have a chipped or cracked tooth, you may need a dental crown to repair the damage and prevent serious oral infections or tooth loss. Porcelain crowns have been used for decades to cover a damaged tooth down to the gum line. Being fitted for the crowns was once a messy and time-consuming process, requiring at least two visits to the dentist.

Dr. Walters office is mostly very friendly. They are efficient with scheduling and great with appointment reminders. They are mostly thorough with their cleaning. A few things make me weary of returning.
First, when scheduling a future appointment, the dental hygienist and I were looking through the calendar for a February appointment during President’s Day weekend. She made a very condescending and seemingly annoyed comment about Black History Month. I could have misinterpreted, but I highly doubt that if I was a Black person sitting in the chair that a) she would have made that comment or

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. My first visit to Dr. Walters was my first dental appointment in a decade. No one made me feel bad for my lapse in care, and they fixed up 3 cavities and a broken front tooth beautifully. I’m smiling in pictures for the first time in years. A year and a half later, and they’ve helped me maintain my smile.

I’ve been seeing Dr.Walters and team for about 15 years and am happy to have found my “forever dentist” He has always been a kind, genuine professional with a relaxing demeanor. I’ve never once been in pain, my teeth always look great and I’ve had everything done from cleanings, root canals, crown replacements and :( cavities. The whole office is great and it says a lot when the same happy, friendly employees are still there year after year.

Dr. Walters and his team were great! After years of going to a dentist that didn’t seem to care much about what I needed, I was astonished how great the service was! My previous dentist would always tell me “we’ll talk about it next time” but when next time came, it was the same response. Dr.Walters found 3 cavities that my previous dentist never even mentioned to me so I didn’t know I needed them fixed. And he made it a point to get me scheduled ASAP and not in another 3+ months! The absolute best dentistry I’ve ever experienced! An ongoing problem with a tooth brought me to Dr Walters as a new patient... needing some serious pain relief.. he was able to clean up some prior dental work, save the tooth and replace the crown with a PERFECT color match. The chair side care, compassion and expertise of Dr Walters and Adella… has literally changed my world. I am able to eat comfortably and able to enjoy dinner with my family! Karen and Lorrie always give a warm welcome and I leave feeling well cared for! THIS is your new dentist, LOOK NO FURTHER! 😀

My son and I have been coming here for at least 10 years. Dr. Walters and staff are wonderful. Lorrie is cheerful and pleasant and very helpful when I have questions. The office is extremely clean. We have both needed work outside of the scope of this office and are always referred to the best places. My son is on his dad's dental plan and is in network. My plan switched to out of network but I still come here because I get excellent care.

Best dentist I’ve ever went to. Don’t know how DAna could be any better!!! Expert, quick, detailed, perfection, gets it right the first time!! And he’s genuine, down to earth, easy to talk too....plus he plays great music!! Staff is awesome! Never a problem with billing/insurance. Will work with you on appointments. Dental assistants perform wonderful work cleaning your teeth.

This practice has been wonderful to my whole family. Very friendly and makes me feel very comfortable despite not liking the concept of dental work. They work great with kids and Dr. Walters is very skilled in… what he does, no judgement in what you should have done or not done. The practice also don't try and upsell things you don't need. Great practice.
