Not only is the food here great and the salsa to die for, the people themselves rate five stars. When my car wouldn't start, not one but two workers came out in the 35-degree windchill to jump it and give me advice on exactly how to fix the underlying problem. They're great people making great food, and deserve all the business!

Please go elsewhere. I ordered a carne asada plate... I got ground beef with no seasoning with what looked like frozen veggies. Nothing was put on the correct plate. My husband ordered steak tacos and got ground beef . Horchata was watered down with no flavor. Service was mediocre ... not worth the $40. Only thing that came out somewhat tasteful was the tres leches cake my husband ate.

Food is edible, but not much more. I ordered a chimichanga with Chile con queso, and got a chimichanga with enchilada sauce. My date ordered a chicken taco plate and the chicken had almost zero flavor, we joked that it tasted like boiled chicken. The rice, beans, and queso were all equally bland. The salsa was a surprisingly decent surprise, and I dalloped large portions on most of my food to give it some much needed flavor.
The servers and service were another high point, prompt, courteous and kept our drinks topped up. Honestly, if it was for the service this place would have lost another couple

Have eaten here in the past for lunch with some colleagues. They were quick and good enough for a return lunch. Came back for lunch, waitress I don't think spoke any English, every order was wrong, steak vs chicken, etc. somehow she even got the drinks wrong. I can live with bad service, what I can't abide is they don't separate their fat fryers. The chicken taquito's tasted like shrimp. My one friend is allergic to shellfish, it's a good thing he didn't get anything deep fried, who knows what might have happened. Bottom line is don't restaurants have to separate

Decided to try a new spot for us. Reviews were mixed but we decided to give it a shot. Service was great. We were there around 2 pm for lunch. Good lunch specials. We ordered a small queso and my husband had a combo plate with a taco and cheese enchilada. It comes with rice and beans but he doesn't like rice so double refried beans. He loved everything. I had a 3 taco order. No rice or beans. Ground beef or chicken. Crispy or soft. I had a crispy beef and crispy chicken and a soft chicken. Those tacos were stuffed with meat and the lettuce, tomato and cheese on the side. Yummy. No complaints

It’s the worst customer service we have seen in Austin area. We walked in at 9pm (their google hours said they are open until 10pm) and ordered appetizers and told the waitress that we will order our entrees later and she said ok. When we’re ready to order entrees around 9.25pm and then we’re told that the kitchen is closed. They wouldn’t even work with us to get us something or the other. We drove 15 miles to try this place based on the reviews but it was a horrible experience and left hungry. And food wasn’t great either, jalapeño poppers are 100% frozen ones you get at the restaurant

The servers were absolutely amazing but everything else was just basic and horribly overpriced. I spent $32.40 after having only two drinks, one crispy taco and one enchilada a la carte. I also was charged 2.75 for SODA WATER and 1.49 for a bowl of mostly onions and cilantro with a couple tomatoes and jalapeños which is being passed off as pico de gallo. It didn't even have lime juice in it. I ordered that in an attempt to have something with a little bit of flavor to go with my chips because the red salsa that was delivered to the table when I arrived was completely tasteless. Unfortunately

Update they are serving breakfast everyday, all day! So this gal had a delish plate of Huevos a la Mexican, wrapped them up in warm flour tortillas and that green salsa I can't get enough of.
Service was great, attentive and friendly.
This is not my usual kind of eatery, I tried it 1st due to convenience and this time cause I really wanted breakfast for lunch.. it's been satisfying, fresh and tasty both times.
They asked if there was a problem with the beans as I had not really touched them.. I simply was not a fan of the beans, they were apologetic to note, offered dessert which

So I don't know if we went on an off day or what, but this experience was the worst we've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Our waitress was really nice, so I can't really say much about her. However, when the food came out, I was beyond disgusted and disappointed. The food was not fresh whatsoever. I ordered the beef fajitas and the meat was like rubber and didn't look like real meat (mine didn't look anything like the picture shown on Yelp) the rice was stale and the beans were flavorless and tasted old. The meat was the most shocking. It was warm like it had been microwaved

All the food is good here. It's basic comfort tex mex. Tasty frozen margs. Tortilla soup is half the price of Baby A's and comes with all the trimmings. Small outdoor patio. Colorful inside with booths, tables and a bar. Good for dates, family, happy hour. Service is attentive and nice enough. (I'm not sure why I don't get TMobile cell signal here.) Woodrows sports bar and Starbucks is a walk away.

Always have been a fan of this place. Their salsa is so yummy, nice flavor. I had the chili relleno which is one of my favorite dishes. Loved the sauce and the pepper was fresh. Their rice is always cooked perfectly and the beans were delicious.
The tres leches cake was almost as good as the one I make at home. Loved the chocolate drizzle on it.
This will always be one of my "go to" spots.....

Yikes. Honestly the worst meal I've had that I can remember in my lifetime! Probably the worst Mexican food in Austin. I know this is a harsh statement but we literally couldn't take more than 2 bites of our food. The meat was watery and bland, and tasted like it has been sitting out in the kitchen for 3 days; the whole meal actually.. even the beans had no flavour it was odd. Maybe they served us the display food by accident?!
I'm kind of confused on how this place has good reviews. We went here a couple years ago and said we'd never come again. We decided to give it another

I ordered sunny side up eggs with well done bacon and potatoes and corn tortillas. I told the waitress I was allergic to wheat and flour before I ordered and the chef made me eggs with a red sauce on the eggs. I asked it the sauce contained flour and he said yes so I sent it back.
The second plate came out with completely RAW eggs and no sauce and the potatoes were white/not browned but the bacon was well done so they got something right. I sent the raw eggs back. The eggs that they finally made looked sad - Stringy and not fluffy.
I couldn't get my waitress back so I had to ask the host

About 3.5 to 4 stars for us. We really enjoyed the carne guisada plate, the gravy was on point. The blanco cheese and chorizo dip was a bit tough to eat. The cheese wasn't soft or smooth enough to dip a chip in and the chorizo is a bit too greasy for how we prefer it. The shrimp chalupa was ok, nothing special I wish the plate were a little cheaper and only came with one instead of 2. Chips were warm and salsa was spicy hot. We might give this spot another try before we fully recommend.

This place made me feel awkward. We had three different servers. Our first waitress took our drink order then someone else brought us drinks and took our food order then a Third lady brought our food and checked on us after.
However, I noticed some guy walking around to all the tables around us to see how their food and service was but he never once visited our table.
We were on the patio so we were close enough to hear that he was not the waiter. I'm assuming a manager. When we finally got our check we waited over 15 min to pay, I was ready to leave so I decided to take the ticket inside
