Trust your eyes to an oculofacial surgeon specializing in advanced surgery of the eyelids and upper face. Dr. Klapper completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University earning a Phi Beta Kappa while in Bloomington, Indiana. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine with Honors and as a member of the AOA Honor Society.

Dr. Klapper is frequently invited to give lectures and review journal articles in the field of oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Klapper firmly believes that staying active in the field of ophthalmology and particularly his subspecialty of oculoplastic surgery helps him understand and offer the best possible techniques to each of his patients.
Dr. Klapper is active in local, state, national and international medical societies that promote the eye health of patients. Past President of the American Eye Study Club, a national society of prominent leaders in the field of ophthalmology. Former Member of the Practicing Ophthalmologists Advisory Committee for Education (POACE) for the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

I realize that the procedure was very simple to you, however your personal attention to all aspects of my care were greatly appreciated. Dr. Klapper did an amazing job on my daughter’s eye ptosis surgery. He, along with his office staff, was genuinely kind & informative throughout the entire process- from our first consultation to her post surgery check up. Great experience for my upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery! Recovery was quick. And with scares that can not seen with normal vision. I have had zero comments from anyone suggesting they where aware of the surgery. However, I have numerous comments on how good I look for my age - 78. Recommend Dr. Klapper as the best. DLM
