In the summer of 1997, George and Terri opened a small vacuum and sewing supply store in Dickson Tennessee. Their primary focus was to provide good old fashioned service with a smile while having unbeatable prices and post sale support. As the retail store continued to grow, George, Terri & Jeremy decided to expand their product offering online.
Sewing Parts Online (SPO) was born in late 2008, operating out of the back of their retail store. The company experienced remarkable growth, and started hiring people to help fulfill the orders coming in and provide the old fashioned service that they continued to strive for. Although initially SPO was focused on machine parts, we've since expanded our product lines to include thread, fabric and notions.

Ordered a part, the part didn't come. Contacted company and was told pretty much, tough luck, The response from customer service was dismissive and unresponsive and concluded with, "Have a great day, Chelsea". Keep the fifteen bucks if you're that hard up for cash, I'll take my business elsewhere. Found the same product on Amazon cheaper and with free shipping. Check Amazon before you RISK your hard earned money here

What a gem of a find!!! It took forever for my order to arrive. One item is backordered, so the rest of the order didn't ship. I began to get irritated, then I emailed to ask if the rest of the order could be shipped and the backordered piece sent later. That's all it took. I should have just emailed sooner. Especially now with so many things backordered and taking some time to be available, then ship and finally arrive. I had a response within a day, a lovely, friendly response, that gave me just what I asked for and I had my feet within days of emailing. It was my own laziness of not just sending

I ordered thread for pick up at the store. They assured me it would be open from 8-5 the next day. My daughter got there at 2:30 and it was closed up tight. Cars were in the parking lot and lights were on but no one answered the phone. When I called to see what was up, the customer service woman told me the owner had a procedure that day and had closed the storefront shop. Apparently he didn’t bother to tell any one BEFORE that he was closing for the day. I need this thread before I go out of town, so now I guess I have to make a trip to Dickson.

I came to this shop today. I was greeted by everyone in the store. Brandon helped me with parts I needed. Asked about purchasing a newer sewing machine. I was treated with very good customer service . Everyone there was extermemly helpful and very nice.

While traveling from Texas to Michigan, we came across SPO Sewing Center. I am so glad we stopped. Nancy was a wonderful person, giving sewing machine tips and also instructions on a quilt pattern. I did not meet any other staff, but if Nancy is an indication of helpful staff and quality customer service....I would recommend SPO Sewing Center. If I lived in the area (I live in Michigan), I would certainly do business there.
