Services
Veterans Home Care was founded in 2003, after Edith Sperling, mother of our founder, Bonnie Laiderman, passed away from cancer. Late in Edith's illness, Bonnie learned of a Department of Veterans Affairs pension known as "Aid & Attendance." It helps veterans or their surviving spouses receive personal care services to help them retain their quality of life and stay in their homes.

VetAssist has been a great asset to my 90 year old mother-in-law. Her husband was a veteran and passed away. We didn't know for years about VetAssist, until someone referred them to us. My mother-in-law still lives on her own and needs some help with some everyday chores and VetAssist has stepped up and helped. If you are a veteran, a spouse of a veteran, or a dependent of a veteran, I would highly recommend getting in contact with VetAssist program. They can help in so many ways. Thank you to all our veterans and Military for keeping us safe and free.

We are so grateful to Jeanine Stevens for going above and beyond to work hard to provide the best options for my dad who is a Vet. She always had time for phone calls. Emails were always answered. My dad was relocated 2 different times and she always worked hard to find new services. I can’t say enough good about her patience and kindness she extended to our family .

We had tried numerous times to get my mother help after my father passed away. She was always turned down, until she had a problem on her hand, she received a month of help and the home health company told us about Vet Assist. Vet Assist has been a blessing. My family so much appreciates the Vet Assist Company and all the wonderful people that work there!

Since I published my last review a year ago, dad has passed on. His only wish was that he could be in his own home, in his own bed with his wife of 69 years and his family by his side. Thanks to the people at Veterans Home Care and the services they were able to obtain for my dad, he got his wish. His passing was peaceful and exactly what he would have wanted. Thank you Donna and Tina and everyone at Veterans Home Care that helped to grant his dying wish.
I struggled for a long time to get VA benefits for my WWII DDay survivor father who now needs in home care. The people at VetAssist are amazing

Last year my friend and neighbor, Don, contacted me for help. He is a US Navy veteran who served during the Korean War. At the time, aged 92, with failing vision, significant loss of hearing, mobility limitations, and a spouse in and out of the hospital with all sorts of medical issues of her own, he needed help. His driving license was not renewed due to the vision issues and he was basically high and dry in a home in need of assistance for transportation, shopping, activities of daily living, and just about everything else. Somehow he found the VetAssist Program from Veterans Home Care, but really

This company is a God send. They helped my apply for the Veteran's Aid and Attendance to receive in-home care for my mom. The staff made the process effortless. If you are a veteran or spouse of a veteran who served during war time and are in need of in-home care, I would definitely choose Veterans Home Care. I have never worked with a more compassionate company in my life.

Thanks to Veterans Home Care my brother has been able to stay in his apartment and have the assistance he needs. I live 4 hours away and without them, it would be an unmanageable situation. I know that someone is checking on him regularly and that gives me great peace of.mind. The agency they helped set up makes sure he gets to doctor appointments and that he can get where he needs to. Jeremy calls and makes sure that all is going well and has been very helpful answering my questions. I highly recommend Veterans Home Care if you have a veteran that needs some help. They truly have been fantastic

My dad is a WWII veteran living on a limited income. Both of my parents were in poor health and in need of assistance to remain in their home. After many hours of seeking possible veteran support systems, we were given the name of VetsAssist. The staff at VetsAssist have been extremely helpful in securing financial support to provide in home assistance and now assistant living for my dad after my mom passed away. Nancy Hermen, our case manager, has been responsive to all my questions and has worked tirelessly to help provide the best care for my dad. If you have a loved one who meets the specified

My experience with Vet's Assist has been a blessing that overflows with compassion, patience, consideration, and support. My contacts with both John Mozdzien and Carol Lewis were beyond exceptional....these folks are dedicated and have a calling to serve our vets and their families, which they do with the utmost respect and consideration. The time and care shared was not just during their normal work hours but beyond via emails, texts, phone calls, etc. My Dad and I were treated as they would have treated their own families. Always patient with my frustrations, they never failed to offer their
