This is the first care facility that has taken above and beyond care for my mother. The staff is kind and compassionate and always willing to do whatever is needed for the patient and family's interest. This facility is amazing, they care for their residents like they are family, they have the up most respect for the families of the patients!
Everyone that works there is so nice and respectful and makes sure you know what goes on with your family member! I highly recommend Sarasota rehabilitation center to my friends for their loved ones! Keep up the great work to all the nurses and cna's who take care of our families to make sure they are comfortable and have everything they need between their medicines or giving them a story about their younger days!

If you care for loved ones. Don't send or take them there. Heard people crying to be helped.
I was told unless wet my bed wouldn't be made or changed. Had same sheets for a week.
Food is not to be eaten. Very bad experience.
May have been nice at once. Not now. Social Worket not helpful or not doing job. As most of
employees there don't.

Never put a loved one in here. This place is seriously horrible. They neglect patients, and not even the higher up management care. If you try to talk to them, they make every excuse in the book for what they do, staff is rude and will try to blame things on the patient. The staff is clearly just working for a check and have no compassion for the residents. If I could rate 0 I would. They don’t even deserve a 1.

I’ve seen my aunt be neglected as she yelled for a nurse for 6 mins to come and help her (her room is near nurses station) and when one finally came to help she had a terrible attitude with the patient and just stormed off not helping with what she was called in for. her items and stuff we send her go missing constantly, they keep her call button out of reach, they don’t get her dressed and showered or bring her to the bathroom instead they’ll tell her to go in the diaper cause that’s what it’s for. we’ve had nothing but problems with them.

Current employee, horrible management rude, unprofessional and mouthy. There is ZERO teamwork unit managers size you up and get in your face. There are bug infestations, mold smells throughout the building, ceilings falling in, puddles when it

A month ago I brought my mother to Sarasota Point for temporary rehabilitation. This was a huge mistake on my part. While the facility is kept up well, a majority of the staff were indeed asleep at the switch. To get to the point my mom was directly across the nursing station. It was indeed a challenge to get any of the staff to even lift a finger. They were virtually helpless in their own right to even function as someone who could breath yet be a CNA let alone attend to the needs of their supposed patients.
