Innova Primary Care is In-Network for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, HealthSpring and PEEHIP. Patients with other insurance or no insurance will pay for their appointment in full at check-in and may file the Super-Bill with their insurer afterward for partial reimbursement. Innova Primary Care DOES NOT prescribe chronic pain medication or treat anxiety/insomnia with daily benzodiazepines (like Xanax or Klonopin).

Services
Innova Primary Care is mending people, mending standards: we believe caring for our patients goes hand-in-hand with caring for the healthcare systems of which they're a part. This means ensuring you, the patient, are not burdened by those systems, nor are you burdening them. This also means speaking truth to power when these healthcare systems mishandle their duty as ancillary arms of aid and relief to providers and patients, alike.
Covered Services include services provided by Innova such as office visits, immunizations, stitches, cryotherapy and other medical services that are covered by your health care plan. Your insurance may pay for a portion of these services based on the unique terms and conditions of your health plan, patients are responsible for the portion of these costs that your insurance specifies.
Now that you have been accepted as a patient, we would like you to know what you need for your appointment and what to expect. When you come into Innova Primary Care for the first time you will be greeted by our Guest Receptionist, who will be happy to help you. You will be asked for your DL and Insurance cards to scan into your chart.

We have a Labcorp owned and operated lab within our facility as a convenience to our patients. Patients having their Annual Wellness Visits and Same Day Sick Visits at our office that require labs to be drawn can have their blood drawn while they are here in the office as a convenience to you. All lab services performed by Labcorp are billed out to your insurance company by Labcorp and not Innova Primary Care.

Innova doctors and especially Dr Uptagrafft has terrible bedside manners. My aunt almost died with double pneumonia while they mistreated her. No X-rays, no medicine, nothing. They are recognized by BCBS which means they do what they can to not treat you and not give you meds when sick. These people are rude and neglectful!

Best primary care doctor I've ever been to. I'll never go anywhere else! They genuinely care about your health, listen to you, and even get you in quickly.
Update, I've gone here for 4 years. 5 stars not enough. Their practice has grown, with quite a few RNs and a D.O., in house blood work and other labs, and they still take the time to listen to you. I've never been to another doctor where I felt like they genuinely cared for my health like they do here.

Every other doctor’s office in Huntsville should take lessons from Innova when it comes to making patients feel safe during COVID. From the sanitizer stations, to the masking, to being allowed to wait in your car, Innova has gotten it right. I feel safe when visiting and their attention to precautions makes the experience less stressful. Everyone is also super nice!

This place was a breath of fresh air. In the past, I've had horrible experiences finding a primary care Dr. I'm so incredibly thankful that I found this place. I came in to talk about some things that can be very uncomfortable to talk about and they made me feel so at ease and seemed genuinely interested in helping me feel better. If you're looking for a new Drs office, this is it! Don't even think twice about it.

10/10 I would recommend! I Just finished my new patient visit where the waiting room is warm and inviting. There was a smiling (behind her mask) staff member was waiting for appointments to arrive, also zero wait time! Everyone was super friendly and truly engaged in the conversations we had.
Honestly, I’ve never felt more comfortable at a doctors visit in my life. I am so happy I chose Innova Primary Care for my PCP!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Innova! I was recently diagnosed with a very rare disease. I’ve been very sick and overwhelmed. The entire staff has been amazing. They’ve gone above and beyond to help me and to work with all my specialists. They put up with my questions and my frequent updates. They truly sit and listen. They care about… you emotionally and mentally as well as physically. I believe God truly blessed me when He pointed me toward the Innova team a few years ago. My daughters go there as well. They love how kind and supportive everyone is to them
