The Style Lounge’s new location is SO cute! It’s the most relaxing, comfortable, & CLEAN space. All of the stylists are so sweet & do such a great job! Tricia has been my stylist for 15 years, and I’d follow her to the ends of the earth! I get a ton of compliments on my color & cut. I’ve refer everyone I work with, everyone I know to her salon, and they all love the service & style! My daughter and many friends also go to Amanda, and absolutely love her work! They’re really like family! 💗

I have been going to The Style Lounge for a few years now and if I could give this spot more than 5 stars, I would! Whether it's just a trim, a full cut or color, Tricia does an amazing job every time. She has great communication, making sure she fully understands what you want while also giving some ideas if you're unsure. She takes her time, is precise and so talented. Love the environment each time I go and their new space is beautiful! Highly recommend!

The new salon is beautiful and you can tell blood sweat and tears went into the redesign. The owner of the salon is a very lovely woman who seems helpful and direct. All of the stylists their seemed to always be cheery and in a great mood. Anytime I have walked in I have always felt a warm welcome. My stylist Amanda is wonderful and always does exactly what I want. The style lounge is a great choice for anything you need!

I've been a client of Tricia's for over 14 years and can't say enough about how much I love my hair! Over the years I've been dark drown to very blonde and many different shades in between. Every color service is done in a way that keeps my hair healthy and happy. I've been coming to The Style Lounge for 9 years now and can't say enough good things about it. The customer service is the BEST (I'm always offered a beverage of choice by Amanda) and the owner Tricia stays on top of current trends and is always going to educational seminars which I think is very important.
The prices are great and the salon itself is very professional and spacious ~ just beautiful! It's always decorated for every season and there are are always little "extras" for the customer, like fresh cookies and candy. Lastly, I only use cruelty-free beauty

Made an appointment for a full set of highlights and told them I had quite a regrowth. I get there apparently I needed to be booked for a longer period of time so they messed up already there, then I had Stephanie who didn't do my entire hair because of lack of time and She was impatient with me when I was trying to understand what she was going to do during that time. Long story short my hair is broken! It rips off because of the bleach and she was rushing at the end when I told her what was happening she dismissed it completely and didn't finish what I asked her to do. I paid double

Yesterday I spent the day with 2 amazing ladies who made me feel more amazing than words can describe; I have never loved my hair more than I do right now...Tricia turned my hot mess, dyed and fryed hair into this gorgeous style that fits my face and personality perfectly; the color is beautiful and it feels healthier than ever! Amanda glammed me up with makeup and made me feel like a rockstar straight out of rolling stones magazine!

Chelsea gave my daughter just the haircut she'd hoped for. She listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered. She was also super good at interacting with my kiddo the whole time. The atmosphere was super comfortable and relaxed. Offered us drinks and made a seat available to mom who wanted to watch the whole process. Highly recommended.

I arrived abit early but she accommodated me promptly.. offered me a drink, which I accepted a nice chilled glass of wine. She took some time to hear my wants, needs and desires, then BOOM... she went to the back did her little magic came back with the paint and got right to it. My color came out amazing- it was exactly what I envisioned.
The salon sits across from Carlsbad village on a busy little street. There's ample parking behind the salon. All the girls that work there are very friendly and

I've been going to the same hairstyist for 8 years and needed a change which was scary for me because I have long hair. I took a chance and made an appointment with Cyreeta Jewel. My hair was a disaster. I reached out for a same-day appointment without much hope, but the owner responded ridiculously fast and got me an appointment with Amanda. Amanda did an amazing job! She wrestled my dry, damaged hair into submission and turned it a beautiful brown/red color. It looked and felt so much nicer and healthier.
I didn't give her much direction because I'm definitely not the expert, but she was able to make recommendations and execute beautifully. I looked and felt SO much better after. Best of all, she explained how the color would behave on my hair, how to care

I have been going to the Style Lounge for seven years and have always been pleased with how Deidra colored and cut my hair. Over the years, there have been a few times when Deidre could not be in her salon for a short while, but there was always someone on her wonderful staff who was able to take over and do a good job. The atmosphere is friendly, helpful, and is so conducive to relaxing, having pleasant conversations, and then leaving feeling like a beautiful new person!!

I reached out today in desperation. I had not had my hair cut since last November. I am so happy I found Tricia. She was patient with me and helped me to a place where I just sat back and let her go with her scissors! I am so happy. The location is great! The shop is ADORABLE. Very nicely decorated and super comfortable. I was immediately greeted and offered a beverage.
My stylist Chelsea quickly came and seated me. She listened to everything I had to say and came up with a wonderful plan for me. {Balyage} Chelsea was easy to talk to and super down to earth. I've NEVER been happier with my hair. My color looks so natural and my hair feel healthier after dying it then it did before?! Crazy. Happy client. Schedule with Chelsea! You won't regret

Ellie has cut and styled my hair for the last four years and I couldn't be happier. She takes the time to cut it perfectly (I have fine hair so to me it is a challenge to find a style that works) and I trust her to try something new. Everyone that works there is super nice and it is a pleasant place to be for an hour.

Chelsea did an amazing job on my balayage. Although I did color my hair a dark brown almost black so I knew a lighter color would be a little difficult to get. But Chelsea transformed my hair wonderfully. This was maybe just about 3 months ago. I'm already thinking about going back to Chelsea to try a new color! It is pretty pricey but the quality is really great. I was recommended by a friend & I'm glad I came! I definitely be back soon! (:

I purchased a Groupon for a haircut with Tina for $35. The booking process was fine and went smoothly, and I was able to make an appointment pretty quickly. However, when I showed up, I was told that I would be charged an extra $15 because I have "long hair." My hair is a pretty common length for women - falling to about my mid-chest. So right off the bat, being that the normal cost for a cut was in the $60-70 range, the upcharge completely defeated the point of my trying out this new place at a discount. It's disrespectful to attract customers to your business under false pretenses

I think this review probably applies more to women with my type of hair: thick, wavy, and with lots of frizz.
I got my hair done here about six months ago and the outcome was absolutely horrible! I'm originally from Oregon but moved to Oceanside because that's where my husband is stationed as a marine. I had been dying to get my hair done but was a bit iffy about letting someone new do my hair so after some extensive research I finally came across the style lounge. For the price, I was definitely expecting better than what I got. Tina was the one who did my hair and she looked so happy

Cheryl is the best esthetician ever!!! Been with her now for about a year. Found her through Groupon for microdermabrasion treatment and have been so happy every since.
My skin breaks out easily and can get uneven skin tone due to previous breakouts. And of course it was driving me bananas. The microdermabrasion helped to exfoliate and smooth out my skin. My make up too goes on smooth after. I also changed my diet, cutting out milk and sugar mainly. And lots of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as water and my skin is really thanking me for it.
