The Sacramento Convention Center Renovation and Expansion project entails demolition and selective demolition of existing structures, a lobby and meeting room addition to the east portion of the convention center along with full demolition and replacement of the existing 1970's era west portion of the building.

As a member of the Sacramento community for more than 70 years, Lawson Mechanical recognizes the importance of contributing to and supporting the many worthy local organizations which provide to those in need. The Lawson Mechanical Contractors Annual Charity Golf Tournament generates proceeds averaging $20,000 per year, which is used to purchase new equipment for the NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center.
As one of the early adopters of 3D building information modeling within our industry, we have worked on a diverse range of projects, including basic office buildings and single story classrooms, OSHPD acute care hospitals, central utility plants, and ethanol fuel distillation facilities. We have collaborated with many engineering consultants in efforts ranging from working on schematic level drawings, to creating permit/contract documents.
Lawson Mechanical's Engineering and Design-Build Department offers the ability to provide design and engineering services for the full scope of mechanical projects. Our engineering services include mechanical system analysis, load calculation, Title 24 calculations, energy use analysis, life cycle cost analysis, LEED point evaluation, and engineering construction documents.
