For power outages, we can equip your Sun Frost refrigerator with a non-interruptible power supply! Sun Frost refrigerators and freezers are so outstandingly energy-efficient, powering a home with solar power or other low output energy sources is both feasible and affordable. All models are available in 12, 24, or 48 volt DC, or 110, 220 volt AC.
These refrigerators and freezers are our largest models, and all have two equal sized compartments. The Sun Frost RF19: one compartment is a refrigerator and the other a freezer. The RF19 can be ordered with the freezer on the top or on the bottom. The freezer is twice as large as the freezer in the RF16; however, the refrigerator compartment is slightly smaller.
Sun Frost refrigerators have proved themselves reliable. Over the past 12 years they have been installed in over 50 developing countries and have held up under the harshest conditions. For critical applications, far from supporting infrastructure, from Borneo to Botswana, Sun Frost refrigerators have delivered consistently dependable performance day in and day out.
The Sun Frost F1 has been tested by SELF, the Solar Electric Light Fund, in Columbia for the past 2 years. The F1 performed flawlessly throughout the entire test. Funding was provided through a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Sun Frost is now offering the "F-1" Direct Drive, battery free, Ice Pack Freezer.
The Sun Frost CS composter system incorporates a sleek interior toilet and two 55 gallon batch composters outside to finish the composting process. Food scraps increase biodiversity and actually makes the composting process more effective. The Sun Frost CS composting system does not require a drain field or have large electrical requirements to evaporate liquids.
