They are much better at sales than service! I have a 20 year old Pioneer flat screen TV that functions perfectly but the six year old Sony that they installed has died. I just spoke to one of the owners and was told they don’t do repairs and the expensive Sony that I purchased had a one year warranty and they don’t support broken TVs that are hung in a bedroom and not often used.

I called to ask about a job of putting together some components with some speakers I had to get a home theatre system. I spoke to John. He couldn’t get me off the phone fast enough. I told him what I had and he said… “we are not taking on any new customers right now, we are so busy!” I said OK… can you recommend anybody in the area. He said maybe Best Buy. I said I was looking for a local company. He said he didn’t know of any…… maybe that’s why they are so busy. Lol!! Anyway, I literally couldn’t believe his attitude. I would NOT recommend this company…. They are too busy

I would highly recommend Custom Theater & Audio for both sales and installation services. I recently relocated to SC and had CT&A install 6 in-ceiling speakers and 1 center channel for an existing Sonos system. They also installed 2 wall mounted TVs. They did an outstanding job of organizing the wiring in my audio closet for my receiver and Blu-ray. Allen (sales) and Tom/team (installation) are all great to work with. They really care about customer satisfaction and the quality of their work.

We recently moved to the area and we’re having difficulty figuring out how to get the tv’s where we wanted them. We visited the store and talked over some options. They offered us to have someone come out to house and see what they would be able to. John was very thorough and explained everything and how they could hang the mounts. Yesterday we had 3 TV’s hung on mounts that could swivel along with a mantle mount that sits above the fireplace and can be pulled down easily. John and Shawn were on time, extremely professional, and had to overcome several obstacles with running wires down through

Highly recommend these guys! They are nice, knowledgeable, and flexible to tailor their work to fit your situation. We already had a system that we installed ourselves, but some things just weren't working correctly. Even though we didn't buy the components from them (wish we had vs relying on online reviews - no way to know nuances of different equipment unless you have experience with it), they came out and tuned it up for a very reasonable price. If you need AV work in the DeBordieu area, call Custom Theater and Audio.

I have used Custom Theater & Audio to wire our entire house when we built it 7 years ago, and we continue to use them in our business locations. They are efficient, technical, and reasonably priced. Most important, they are professional. When the technician leaves, you can look at the wiring and tell that it was done by a professional company.

I have worked with the guys at Custom Theater in both a situation of retro-fitting an old house and building a new home. They are very creative, and thorough. In the old house they got cable installed where the cable company said it couldn't be done. In the new one they accommodated all of my peculiar requests and stuck with me through some implementation challenges. Service after the sale is terrific. Pricing is very fair in my opinion.
