Mortgage wire fraud is a tremendous issue in our industry and is one of the fastest-growing white-collar crimes in our country today. As a result, our team at Brady & Kosofsky continuously participate in educational opportunities across the country to stay current on the best ways to protect our lenders, banks and consumers.
In the mid-1990's Kelly Brady and Jaime Kosofsky were in law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School (now Western Michigan University) in Lansing, Michigan. Although Jaime and Kelly didn't meet at the time, their shared experience was the first chapter in the story of Brady & Kosofsky. After graduating, Jaime and Kelly both moved to North Carolina to start their careers.
Brady & Kosofsky's closing expertise is unmatched. We were the first closing agent in the Carolinas to pass a SOC2 Type 2 Audit. We were also the first to regularly perform eClosings in North Carolina, and we remain industry leaders in digital mortgage. Today we offer an array of closing options, both centralized and traditional.
Founding partner Jaime Kosofsky started his North Carolina real estate closing practice in 1999. Over the past twenty years, Jaime has trained countless real estate closing attorneys and staff members on the finer points of balancing a successful closing practice with delivering exceptional customer service.
Brady & Kosofsky's centralized team provides attorney-supervised title and settlement services to clients across North Carolina from our office located in Charlotte. Our team and partners have collaborated to provide remote services which years ago could only be provided by local firms.

Our in-house attorneys and experienced team members work with with panels of attorney-trained and supervised contractors, which give Brady & Kosofsky feet in the street across the state.Our centralized team brings the closing to the consumer at a time and place that is convenient to them.

Worst experience I have ever had. Funds were held out of closing and put in their trust to pay for ac bill on the home that sold. They write checks out of their trust. Well make along story short, when calling about payment, they leave on hold both times so long I just laid my phone down with speaker on so I could hear. Never came back twice. So when emailing I was told check had not cleared. Did I want them to stop payment and me pick up a check for me to mail. WOW. NOW I HAVE LATE FEE AND PAST DUE CHARGES. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALREADY LATE AND IM PAYING FOR FEES I SHOULD NOT BE PAYING.

Possible Corrupt.. Front for mob?? Total Incompetent. Greedy. Over Charging for service. The staff and Lawyers are HORRIBLE !! Avoid these clowns like the plaque. Don't say you were not warned. These potential law breakers should be flagged to the AG, FBI, Bar, etc.. The low end staff maybe in for big surprise when they find out they could be up for felony charges.. STAY AWAY for your own sake..

Very unhappy with the customer service and communication. They turned a simple, easy, non stress sale of our home and property into a drama filled last 36 hours where we didn't know if we could close until a half hour before. Then the paralegal forgot to have one of the buyers e-sign the document so we almost didn't get it recorded.

It was recorded, but they never called us back to come get our check from the sale of the property, so now it doesn't go in the bank until Monday.

There were also extra fees added, that when I asked about, they couldn't explain. When the lawyer

If I could give 0 stars I would. These lawyers are rude and clueless when it comes to signing day. They are not prepared and are money hungry and very unprofessional. If you ask questions they talk to you as If your dumb. If it wasn't for our lendor we wouldn't have our house today. These lawyers do not care about you and just want you to sign the papers to get you out of their hair. Also before me and my husband signed papers the lawyer was to busy getting her lunch and eating/talking so we had to wait another hour before signing papers..when we were told to be there at a certain time. I am a real estate investor. In my years of experience, I have never interacted with so many irrisponsible, careless, clueless, and unprofessional group of people. If my buyers or sellers ask me to close there, I take my business elsewhere.
