Biewer is a third generation, family owned group of companies that is committed to the environment and sound forest practices. We take pride in our family of employees, which is why we make it our goal to operate the safest and most effective facilities. Not many know this, but the Biewer family was not always in the lumber business.
Biewer has five sawmills. We have four right in the heart of Red Pine country-two Michigan mills and two in Wisconsin. These sawmills are fully automated, modern, high-tech facilities, vertically integrated to provide the highest-quality building products for our customers. The midwest Sawmills are considered to be the largest-volume, random-length mills in the Midwest.
Biewer Forest Management is part of the Biewer Lumber family of companies which was established at our location in 1983 with our first sawmill in McBain, Michigan. We work with woodland owners to help them achieve their forest management goals. All landowners have specific goals for their property whether it is wildlife management, timber production or recreation just to name a few.
Biewer's treatment facilities include three state of the art plants that process and treat both residential and commercial products with the annual capacity of 350 million board feet. Lansing, Michigan - Biewer of Lansing, is our largest facility with an annual production capacity of 200 million board feet.
Biewer Lumber's three treatment facilities also serve as distribution centers in order to keep lead times short and shipping costs low. These facilities service the Midwest markets with a full array of building products for both residential and commercial needs. Our service model can model the needs of our customer via LTL of full truck load.

Don't buy anything from this company. They DO NOT stand behind their products. I spent $3,000 on their Monarch Decking (supposedly 25 year warranty and no maintenance). I set up a quick website with pictures to show the deck after only 1 year http://www.rodbikes.com/temp/deck/deck.html complete with high resolution photos (click on any picture in the site to get a close-up). I have attempted several times over the last 8 months to make contact with them, and no response.
